BLOTZ B28-STA-107, B28-STA-102 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Starship Corridor B28-STA-102, which details how to assemble a 28mm scale, 3-inch long model. The document covers the necessary tools, glue, and step-by-step instructions for assembly, including attaching supports and decorative pieces. I'm ready to answer any questions you might have about putting this model together.
  • What kind of glue is required for assembly?
What tool is needed to remove sections from the sprue?
Where should the supports be placed on the wall during assembly?
What should be avoided when adding decorative pieces?
28mm Starship Corridor (3” long)
B28-STA-102
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
A full-colour copy of these instructions can be found on our website: www.blotz.co.uk
Each of the corridor walls is formed from a set of
the pieces shown above.
Apply a little glue to the supports and attach the
pieces as shown above. Note the two lugs on each
support should be at the bottom of the wall (i.e.
the section with the four sets of horizontal lines
marked on it. Leave to dry.
Once the wall is dry, remove the pieces shown
above from the sprue.
Glue these into position on the wall (NB: There are
lines inscribed on the wall to help you position
these). Leave to dry. Ensure the decorative pieces
do not extend over the ends of the wall as this will
make linking corridor sections together quite tricky.
Apply a little glue to the bottom the walls and
their supports. Position the walls onto the base
using the holes provided.
