INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
KEEP YOUR
PATIO PAVERS
IN PLACE
1
Install compacted aggregate base.
Consult your paver supplier for
proper width and depth for the
specific paver application. Wearing
protective eye-wear is recommend-
ed when installing ProFlex™
Aluminum Paver Edging.

Determine the proper positioning for the edging. ProFlex™ Aluminum Paver
Edging is ready to use right out of the box. Cut with a hacksaw or metal snips.
ProFlex™ Aluminum Paver Edging is made from contractor grade materials but
is lightweight and flexible to make curves, and angles. For angles bend edging
around a solid form, or cut two pieces and butt together. The edging should be
installed directly on top of the compact ed aggregate base prior to screeding
sand and settling pavers.

with the anchoring tabs underneath
the pavers. Diagram 2 illustrates an
installation with the anchoring tabs
adjacent to the edge of the pavers.
Either is acceptable.
4
A minimum of 3 anchor ing spikes
per 6' piece of edging are recom-
mended. Secure edging by driving
anchoring spikes (included) at a
slight angle through tabs into com-
pacted base. Position spikes at each
end of the edging and a maximum
of 36" apart. For holding large patio
stones or rocks, additional spikes are
recommended and sold separately.
5
Backfill perimeter with topsoil.
Seed, sod or install groundcover,
as specified.
