Commissioning

Important!

Ensure that the intake damper is open at the time of

commissioning of the fan. Max. permissible pressure

difference with damper closed = 1000 Pa.

Max. torque on damper actuator 30 Nm.

Insulation

External dampers are supplied with a cover plate over the

shaft journals and the linkage arm system. External insu-

lation of the damper is permitted in this way.

Connection to duct

Ducts and accessories are connected with a PG guide or

flange. A duct can also be connected directly to the dam-

per of the connecting piece.

The following connection accessories: fabric sleeve

EUVZ-02, transition piece EUVZ-03, and protective net

EUVZ-05 are supplied ready assembled on the unit.

Counter flange EUVZ-04 is supplied separately for

installation as shown in Figs. 3 and 4.

The damper can be controlled with actuating lever

EUVZ-01 (accessory) or damper actuator EUAZ-11

(accessory).

Installation of damper actuators

Damper actuator EUAZ-11 (accessory) is installed as

shown in installation below.
