PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
Take the pieces shown above from the sprue.
Stick them together as shown to create the basic
shape of the console cabinet.
Add the two support arms.
The upright panel and its support bar.
Stick the bar to the rear of the panel as shown.
Attach the desk piece.
Add the upright panel and the top of the console.
The chair is formed from these pieces.
Stick them together as shown above.
We now suggest you paint
the component parts of your model.
The screens and keyboard.
Stick the screens into place and add the keyboard.
Painting
Once the basic carcass of the console was built we sprayed it black with a car undercoat aerosol primer.
The keyboard and screens were left on the sprue and sprayed white as was the chair.
The console was dry brushed silver then the ends and legs were painted black.
The screens were painted grey.
The various dials and lights were first picked out in white then once that had dried were painted a rando assortment of
colours.
The chair had its cushions painted brown.
