1 Introduction – Ultra2 and Ultra3 Section Tables
These exclusively engineered, heavy duty, 550 lb. capacity tables come standard with a unique
caster raising system that lifts the table onto casters with a single lever, allowing an easy change
between mobility and stability. Powered by high quality gas cylinders that control the section
adjustments, these tables are also designed with full-length foot bars, and optional fixation rails
and horns.
Quality, durability, and innovation are the guarantees for Dynatronics’Ultra treatment tables.
Employing the latest technologies, customer input, and stylish, modern designs the Ultra
isunrivalled, customer-specific, safe, and attractive. Unique in terms of stability, ergonomic design,
and constructed of the best materials, Ultra tables supply years of comfortable, intensive use.
Before administering a treatment to a patient, familiarize yourself with all the operating instructions,
as well as any warnings or precautions that may apply.
Instructions for the following tables are included in this manual:
Ultra 2-Section
Ultra 3-Section
2 Unpacking
When you receive the table, immediately unpack it and all accessories, and check for possible
damage, obvious or concealed. In case of damage, immediately notify the freight carrier and take
any steps necessary to file a claim for the damage sustained.
Complete the warranty registration form located at the back of this manual and return it to
Dynatronics within 30 days of purchase. This is essential to insure that you are not billed for
services that are covered by the warranty policy. Warranty registration should include serial
numbers.
Connect the AC power cord, which is equipped with a hospital grade, UL listed plug, to a properly
grounded 115V~ 50/60 HzAC outlet. The power cord must be firmly plugged into the device itself.
When the cord is properly connected, it cannot be easily pulled out. Do not place the cord or the
device in a place where the cord could be tripped over or accidentally pulled out of its socket
during a treatment.
3 Installation
1. Electrical supply connections must comply with the national requirements.
2. Prior to connection of the motor to the electrical supply, check that the voltage and frequency
stated on the manufacturer’s plate correspond with the available electrical supply.
3. The Ultra table should be placed on a flat surface.
4. Turn the adjustable foot until it touches the ground and the table is standing stable.
5. The table may not be used in close proximity (i.e. less than 6.5’) to shortwave or microwave
equipment.
6. Avoid placement exposure to direct sunlight, UV radiation, rain, excessive dust, moisture,
mechanical vibrations, and shocks.
7. The Ultra treatment tables are not intended for use in so-called “wet rooms” (hydrotherapy
rooms).

4 Precautions & Warnings
1. Never adjust a section when it supports the full weight of the patient. Each section of
theUltratable is supported by gas springs. As well as easing operation, they offer full support of
the sections. However, these gas springs are not strong enough to lift a section while it
supports the full weight of the patient.
2. Use both hands to change the table settings: one hand for unlocking and the other to adjust
the section.
3. A maximum patient’s weight of 550 lbs. is allowed with the 9000N motor SL80 when the height
of the table is being adjusted.
4. Never let the motor exceed a few minutes continuous operation. If this should happen, a
thermal cut-out shuts off the power and protects the motor against overheating. In that case,
let the motor cool down until it functions again.
5. Always use the original Dynatronics’ accessories that are meant for this product.
6. The apparatus is only meant to be used by competent personnel in physiotherapy,
rehabilitation, or adjacent areas. Avoid any use of the equipment by unauthorized personnel.
7. When used by children, supervision by a knowledgeable practitioner is obligatory. At all times
keep children away from the equipment when no supervision is at hand or use a safety switch.
8. Use a clean table cover (towel, terry cloth, or paper cover) for every individual to guarantee
hygienic use.
9. The table is not anti-static.
5 Safety Instructions
Height Adjustment (general)
Ensure that neither the patient nor the operator can get
any part of the body or clothes near or in between the
moving parts of the mechanism when the table is being
raised or lowered.
Be particularly careful underneath the head section,
between the head section and floor.
Height Adjustment
Never rest your feet on the all-around-
operation bar. Especially when seated next
to the table. It can lead to a dangerous
situation in which your leg can be jammed
between the section and the all-around-
operation bar.
3
Danger of Tilting
We advise against sitting on the head and leg section
of the table.
Load
The Headsection is not suited to sit upon and must be used to support the head only.
Danger of Pinching
Note warning-stickers are placed on the table.
Warning: When adjusting this table, keep
hands and feet away from the table for at
least 8”, especially on places that has been
marked by these stickers.
Adjustment of the Sections
When adjusting the sections, there is a
danger of pinching at the section’s contact
points.
Warning: keep enough distance between you or your
clients and these points.
4
6 Operation
The operation of your Ultra treatment table is simple and safe. The illustrations show how the various
adjustments are done.
Single Lever Caster Raising System (Moving the Table)
The table can be easily moved by using the foot peddle at each end of
the table. The foot peddle lifts the table onto casters with a single
lever, allowing an easy change between mobility and stability.
Caution: Never move the table with a person or load on it. Move the
table only on a smooth surface. The table is not designed to move
across thresholds.
Height Adjustment with the All-Around-Operation Bar
By pressing or pulling the all-around-operation bar(located underneath
the framework) with your foot, the required height of the table can be
set.
At the head section of the table, the height can be adjusted by turning
the handle to the left or to the right.
Caution:Never let your full weight rest on the all-around-operation bar!
Adjusting the Back Section
Use one hand to pull the handle underneath the back section, while
adjusting the section in the desired position. Release the handle and
the section will be fixed.
Adjusting the Head Section
Use one hand to pull the handle underneath the head section while
adjusting the section in the desired position. Release the handle and
the section will be fixed
7. Cleaning
The table and accessories may be cleaned with a lukewarm, damp cloth and a non-abrasive
liquid household cleaner. CAUTION:CLEANER SHOULD BE A NON-ABRASIVE, NON-
ALCOHOL CONTENT SOLUTION
Note on Disinfectants
Read product labelling for a disinfectant that will not damage the surface of the
upholstery vinyl.
Only use one disinfectant and rinse with clear water. Never use a mixture of various
disinfectants or cleaners!
As we have no influence over the production and raw materials of the disinfectants,
we can give no general guarantee of the resistance of disinfectants.

8. Maintenance
Maintenance Operating Handles
Check the operation of every section adjustment regularly (at least once every
month). For correct operation keep the bars of the mechanism clean and free of
grease.
Check the functioning of the height adjustment at least once every 6 months if
thetable is not being used regularly. Disconnect the electrical cable from the
electricity supply if the table will not be used for a long period of time.
Maintenance Advice
The table should be checked once a year by authorized personnel of Dynatronics or by its
authorized distributor.
7. Problem Solving
Disconnect the electrical cable from the electricity supply if the table’s all-around-
operation bar is not functioning properly.
Then check whether the three operating elements are in a neutral position: the bar on
the left and on the right plus the handle.
At the short sided edge of the table, where you can find the small
operation handle, there is a cord that runs to the underside of the table.
Try to follow this cord with your hand as far as possible until you can pull
it loose carefully from the small pin. (See the illustration to the left -
illustration is a bottom view). Uncouple the cord for a moment and put it
back again. Afterward, you can connect the electrical cable with the
electricity supply and bring the all-around-operation bar back into use
Environment Information
Your Ultra contains materials that can be recycled and/or are noxious for
the environment. At the end of the table’s life cycle, follow guidelines in
your area for disposing of the table. The table can be taken apart, sorting
out the noxious materials and materials for recycling.
Please ensure that you are well informed of the local rules and
regulations regarding the removal of equipment and accessories.
