Warning
Useonlywiththedesignatedvoltageandfrequency.Improper

Theprinterweighsapproximately31lb(14kg).Whenmovingthe
printer,liftinawaythatavoidsexcessivephysicalstress.Lifting
recklesslyordroppingtheprintercouldcauseinjury.
Locatetheprinterasclosetoanoutletaspossible,andalloweasy
accesstounplugthepower
cordincaseofproblems.
Ifthereisdustontheplug,cleanitoffthoroughly.Itcouldcause
electricchockorashortout.
Ifmetalobjectsofliquidshavefallenintotheprinter,andthereis
smoke,astra ngeodor,oranyotherapparentabnormality,
immediatelyturn
thepowerOFF,andunplugthepowercord.Then
contactaservicerepresentative.Donotcontinueusingtheprinterifit
isNOToperatingproperly.Thiscouldcauseshock,shortcircuit,orfire.

Atleastonceayear,unplugthepowercord,andcleantheprongsand
theplug.Ifdustaccumulates,itcouldcauseafire.
Whenprintingcontinuouslyforlongperiodsoftimeinasmallroom,
besuretoventilateproperly.
Ifuseisintendedona
transportationvehicle(train,truck,ship,etc.),
pleasetalktoarepresentativeinadvance.
Whendisposingoftheprinter,peripheralitems,packaging,ormedia,
pleaseabidebylocalwasteremovalordinances.Fordetails, contact
yourlocalgovernmentoffices.
Whenunpluggingthecord,griptheplug.Donotpullonthecord.It
coulddamagethecord,andcauseelectricshockorfire.
Whenmovingtheprinter,besuretounplugthepowercord.

Setting up the Scrap Box
Setting the Paper Tray
1. AttachthePaperTraytotheScrapBox.
*Thetraycanholdabout50photos,butpleaseremovethemfrequently.
Caution
Whenthescrapboxisremoved,donotinsertyourfingersinthecutter.
Theycouldbutcutorsevered.
Asprintsarecut,thescrapboxfillswithscrappaper.Besuretoempty
itwhenyouchangethepaperandribbon.Ifitbecomesoverfilledwith
scraps,itcouldcauseproblemswiththeprinter.
Exchangethepaperandribbonasaset,toavoiderrors.
Caution
Allowingtoomanyphotostoaccumulateorusingwithpapersizesother
thanLorPCcancauseerrorsordamagetothetray.
Usecarewhenattachingthepapertray,thereisapossibilityof
damagingthetrayiftoomuchforceisused.

Solving Media Errors
1. ReleasetheOpenLever,andopenthefrontcover.
2. Removetheribbon.
a. Ifthepaperisjammed:
1. Pulloutanypaperremainingintheprinter,andcutoffanywrinkledorpartiallyprinted
areasevenlywithscissors.Printingoveranareathathasalreadybeenprinted
uponwill
maketheribbonstick,andthepaperwilljamagain.
Whenpullingthepaperout,pullitslowly.Applicationoftoomuchforcecandamagethe
printer.
2. Cuttingthepaper:
Ifthepaperisnotcutevenly,itmaycauseabnormalprintingand/orthepapertojam.
