1 Introduction
This operator manual is intended to make it easier for you to get to know the component in question and
for you to use its range of applications.
This manual contains important information regarding how to operate the component in a safe, appropri-
ate and economical manner. Your attention will help to reduce hazards, repair costs and downtime, as
well as to increase the reliability and service life of the respective product.
Existing national regulations for accident prevention and environmental protection are also valid.
The operator should ensure that every person working on or with the component reads and utilizes this
manual.
This manual must be kept in a designated and easily accessible location and it must be referred to in the
event of even the slightest doubt.

4 Installation
WARNING
Danger of short circuit
Improper mounting can result in a short circuit.
lAvoid wall mounting.

4.1 Cabling
Connect the cable
Plug in and fasten all data communication cables.
Connect the power supply unit to the system via a DC cable.
Connect the power cable of the power supply unit to the overvoltage protection sockets of the hous-
ing system.
Disconnect the cable connection
WARNING!Never disconnect a cable by pulling on the cable, but always directly on the plug.
Proceed as follows when disconnecting cables:
1. Turn off all power and devices switches.
2. Remove the cable cover.
3. Unplug all power plugs from the electrical sockets.
4. Unplug all data communication cables from the data network outlets.
5. Unplug all cables from the devices.

6. Use your thumb to pull the plastic cover off
the socket.
