1. Mount the new kit control according to
 theinstruconsheet.
2. Aerthecontrolisinstalled,placethe
 blankdialontothedialsha.Turnthedial
 clockwiseunlitstops.Thisisthe
 “low-stop”posion.
3. Decidewhichdireconyouwantthe
 “low-stop”posion(thewordRobertshaw)
 onthedialtoread;up,right,leordown.
If the index pointer is desired, and it needs
to be located to match the “low-stop”
 posionofthedial,seetheinstrucons
packaged with the control.
4. Take a pencil and lightly mark on the
outside edge of the blank dial where the
 “low-stop”posionisgoingtobe.
5. Removetheblankdialandplaceitonaat
surface. Take the temperature scale insert
and hold it over the dial, lining up the
word Robertshaw with the pencil mark.
DO NOT PUSH, but let it fall down onto the
knob. STOP! DO NOT PUSH THE INSERT
YET.
6. THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT AND
MUST BE FOLLOWED CAREFULLY. READ
THIS WHOLE SECTION BEFORE
PROCEEDING FURTHER. Make sure that
 “low-stop”(thewordRobertshaw)isgoing
 tobeinthecorrectposion.Makesure
 thatallfourtabs(seegure2)tinsidethe
edge of the blank dial. If one tab is slightly
 o,useangernailandbenditinslightly.
Double check to see that all the tabs now
 tinsideoftheblankdial.Slowlypressthe
 insertallthewaydown(seegure2).
7. If removal of the temperature scale insert
 isnecessary,pullthedialoofthedial
 sha.Usingasmallbluntobject,likeadull
pencil point, push out the insert using the
 tworemovalopeningsprovided(see
 gure1).
