Before servicing, always disconnect the dryer from its electrical power

source by removing the electrical plug from the wall receptacle, or

by removing the fuse (or switching the circuit breaker to OFF) in the

branch circuit supplying the dryer.

1. Disconnect electrical power source from dryer.

2. Remove 4 screws securing control panel to control housing.

3. Lay control panel face down onto top of dryer.

4. Remove1screwsecuringmermounngpaneltocontrolpanel.

5. Removemerknob.

6. Transferwiringconneconsoneatamefromoldtonewmer

 matchingupterminaldesignaons(AtoA;BtoB;CtoC;etc.)

NOTE:Thereplacementmer,insomecases,willhavemore

terminals than the original. Use only the like marked terminals,

leaving any extra terminals empty.

7. Reassemble parts in the reverse order of their disassembly.

TECHNICIAN WITH DUE REGARD FOR SAFETY AS IMPROPER

INSTALLATION COULD RESULT IN A HAZARDOUS CONDITION.
