TO CHANGE THE EQPK CARBON FILTER
The ability of the carbon filter cylinders to absorb gases and
odours deteriorates gradually as the filter is in use. At present,
there is no short-cut method for determining the remaining useful
life of the filter medium. However the following can be used as
a rule of thumb: Whenever the need for collecting strong odours
arises and these odours are equally perceptible both upstream
and downstream of the filter, then it is time to change the filter
media. The normal useful life ranges from 6 months to one year.
To minimize the time required for servicing of the installation, it is
advisable that a new set of filter cylinders or replacement carbon
filtermedia always be available.
WARNING!
Dust from dirty filters can be a health hazzard,
wear face mask (lowest class FFP2) when
handling.
Dirty filters must be disposed of an environ-
mentally responsible way accordance with
local regulations.
