WeR@Home™ HD cameras enable you to view and record high quality video. WeR@Home™ works
with the following HD cameras:

2. Setting Up an Outdoor Camera
Outdoor cameras include:
Outdoor HD Camera (ESUG05156)
Outdoor HD Bullet Camera (ES800HDB)
Before you use an outdoor camera:
Select a location
Add the camera to WeR@Home™
Mount the camera on a wall or ceiling
Selecting a Location
To get the best performance, mount the camera:
Within Wi-Fi or
cable range
Near power
supply
Not in direct
sunlight
No extreme
temperatures

Adding the Outdoor Camera to WeR@Home
Add the outdoor camera to WeR@Home™ before mounting it.
To add the camera:
1. Connect Ethernet and power cables to the dongle.
2. Connect the antenna.
3. If you plan to record video with an Outdoor HD Camera:
a. Unscrew the cover.
b. Insert an SD card.
c. Replace the cover and screws.
NOTE: If you purchased an Outdoor HD Bullet Camera with an SD card, the SD
card is already installed.
4. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
5. Tap . A menu appears.
6. Tap DEVICES. The Devices screen appears.
7. Tap Add device. A list of devices appears.
8. Tap HD Camera.

9. Follow the on-screen instructions.
10. For wireless use:
a. Tap Configure.
b. Tap Wi-Fi Network.
c. Remove the cable when instructed.
If WeR@Home™ doesn't find the camera:
1. Ensure that the smartphone and camera are connected to the same network.
2. Press and hold the reset button for five seconds. Wait 30 seconds and try again.

Mounting the Outdoor Camera
The outdoor camera can be mounted to a wall or ceiling. You will need a drill and screwdriver.
2.3.1 Outdoor HD Camera (ESUG05156)
To mount the Outdoor HD Camera:
1. Mark drill sites with the holes in the base.
2. Drill holes.
3. Insert the wall anchors provided.
4. Attach the base to the wall or ceiling with the screws provided.
5. Use the thumbscrew to attach the mount to the camera. You can attach the mount to either the
top or bottom of the camera.
6. Attach the mount to the base.
7. Tighten the adjustment knob.

To mount the Outdoor HD Camera:

Add the Indoor Pan/Tilt HD Camera to WeR@Home™ before placing or mounting it.
To add the camera:
1. Connect Ethernet and power cables
2. If you plan to record video, insert an SD card.
3. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
4. Tap . A menu appears.
5. Tap DEVICES. The Devices screen appears.
6. Tap Add device. A list of devices appears.
7. Tap HD Camera
8. Follow the on-screen instructions
9. For wireless use:
a. Tap Configure.
b. Tap Wi-Fi Network.
c. Remove the cable when instructed.
If WeR@Home™ doesn't find the camera:
1. Ensure that smartphone and camera are connected to the same network.

2. Using a pen, press and hold the RESET button for five seconds. Wait 30 seconds and try again.
Mounting the Indoor Pan/Tilt HD Camera
The indoor pan/tilt HD camera can be placed on a flat surface or can be mounted to a ceiling or wall.
You will need a drill and screwdriver.
To mount the camera:
1. Mark the drill sites using the holes in the mount.
2. Drill the holes.
3. Insert the wall anchors included with the camera.
4. Attach the mount to the wall or ceiling with the screws provided.
5. Press the camera's base against the mount. Turn the camera clockwise until it clicks into place.

5. Viewing Video
WeR@Home™ enables you to view video from your HD cameras with or without audio. You can view:
Live video
Recorded video
Viewing Live Video
To view live video from an HD camera:
1. Tap . The Video screen appears displaying a list of available cameras.
2. Tap next to the camera you want. The live view screen for the camera appears.
While viewing live video you can adjust the picture, take snapshots, zoom, and perform other
functions:
NOTE: Zoom is available for iPhone only.

A slider appears. Run your finger along the slider.
Adjust contrast
A slider appears. Run your finger along the slider.
Flip the image horiontally
Flip the image vertically
Save current brightness,
contrast and orientation
settings as the default view

Viewing Recorded Video
WeR@Home™ can record HD video to the camera's SD card.
To view recorded video:
1. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
2. Tap . The Video screen appears displaying a list of available camera devices.
3. Tap for the HD camera you want. A list of videos appears.
4. To display videos from a specific date, tap and select a date. A list of videos appears.
5. Tap for the video you want. The video plays repeatedly until you tap or .
6. To download the video clip to your smartphone's gallery, tap .

6. Recording Video
WeR@Home™ enables you to record video from your HD cameras with or without sound. Recorded
video is stored on the camera's SD card.
You can configure WeR@Home™ to record video:
Always
When motion is detected
Never
To set up video recording:
1. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
2. Tap . A menu appears.
3. Tap DEVICES. The Devices screen appears.
4. Tap the camera you want to edit. The camera's settings page appears.
5. Tap SD Card. The SD Card settings screen appears.
NOTE: Sound recording is available for indoor cameras only.

If recording is enabled and videos are not recorded, format the SD card.
Caution: Formatting the SD card will erase all stored videos.
To format the SD card:
1. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
2. Tap . A menu appears.
3. Tap DEVICES. The Devices screen appears.
4. Tap the camera you want to edit. The camera's settings page appears.
5. Tap SD Card. The SD Card settings screen appears.
6. Tap Format SD card.

WeR@Home™ enables you to customize a camera's name and change its Wi-Fi network.
To change the camera's settings:
1. Open the WeR@Home™ app.
2. Tap . A menu appears.
3. Tap DEVICES. The Devices screen appears.
4. Tap the camera you want to edit. The camera's settings page appears.
