Application
Damper actuator identied as P/N 159877 has been changed by the manufac-
turer. Belimo Model AFB24-MFT95-US has been replaced by Belimo Model
AFX24-MFT95-US. Both models are attached in the same manner and perform
the same function; however, the wire terminal designations and wire colors dif-
fer. Follow the instructions below when replacing a Model AFB24-MFT95-US
damper motor with a Model AFX24-MFT95-US.
Instructions
1. Turn off the gas and the electric.
2. Disconnect the six damper motor wires from their various connections and
remove the damper motor.
3. Install the new damper motor in the same location. Refer to the wiring dia-
gram on the unit to determine where to connect the wires listed in the table.
New Motor Wires*
Connect new motor wire to Terminal or Twist-on Wire Con-
nector shown on the Unit Wiring Diagram for connecting
Terminal* Color
R White -- the white wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 4
B Gray -- the white wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 5
W Pink -- the white wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 3
U Orange -- the white wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 6
+ Red -- the red wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 2
- Black -- the black wire from the “old” damper motor Terminal 1

Designations on the Old Damper Motor to determine where to connect the wires.
4. Verify that all connections are correct and secure and test for proper oper-
ation. For future reference, keep this form with the wiring diagram.
