Follow-up fitting

1 Detect the instruments and note the remaining time in the trial period.

2 Read out connected instrument to adjust the ﬁtting.

3 If needed, the performance level and/or trial period can

be adjusted, by selecting in the top tool bar.

If you wish to try another performance level or prepare for another patient,

select New ﬁtting and repeat steps 5 - 12.

New fitting

1 Open NOAH™ to create patient ﬁle and enter data. (If not using NOAH,

enter patient information directly into Connexx® 9 stand alone)

2 Open Connexx 9 ﬁtting soware.

3 Detect hearing instruments using appropriate programmer

(NoahLink Wireless or ConnexxAir).

a. NoahLink Wireless (Bluetooth hearing aids): Place hearing aids in

pairing mode (turn oﬀ/on via charger or open/close battery door)

and select Detect Hearing Instruments icon.

b. ConnexxAir (non-Bluetooth hearing aids): Place hearing aids

in pairing mode (turn oﬀ/on via charger or open/close battery

door) and place hearing instruments on the table just outside the

ConnexxAir and select Detect Hearing Instruments icon.

4 Select New Fitting and Select Performance Level. 6 Select Performance Level.

7 Set Trial Period time.

8 Click OK.

9 Hearing instruments will be conﬁgured and the First ﬁt screen initiated.

10 Select appropriate Acoustical Parameters and click First Fit.

5 The sDemo Change Performance Level dialog box will be initiated.

11 Select Own Voice Processing and follow Own Voice training instructions

then select Go to training.

12 Once Own Voice training is complete, the sDemos have been

successfully First Fit. The hearing aids can be further adjusted as needed

and paired with the Signia app or other accessories..
