SmartDisc 10IP is designed for use in specific ambient conditions.
Conditionsdeviatingfromthesecancausedamagetothedevice,ortothe
recorded data. Warranty will be voided in this case. Please maintain the
ambient conditions described below when using your SmartDisc 10IP
device.

Makesuretocarefullyreadandunderstandthismanualbeforeoperating

The operating temperature for SmartDisc 10IP is between +5°C and
+40°C.
Provide sufficient ventilation. Do not block vents. Provide sufficient air
circulationforcupboardinstallations.
Neverexposethedevicetodirectsunlight.Keepitwellawayfromother
sourcesofheat(radiators,etc.).
Installationorientation: vertical, horizontal, with a deviationof not more
than±5°.
It is essential that you maintain the required ambient conditions for
outdoorinstallations.Protectthedeviceagainstatmosphericinfluence.
AlwaysswitchSmartDisc 10IPoff,usingthemainpowerswitch,before
removingorinsertingaharddisk.
Waitforatleast10secondsafterswitchingoffthedevicebeforeturningit
onagain.
Alwaysusetheoriginalpowersupplyunitwiththerespectivecable.Useit
