EZIFENCE PANEL BOX
This box contains the top and bottom rails, and all vertical
pickets to assemble a fence panel. To mount your panel you
will need to buy a Post Pack and Bracket Kit or just a Bracket
Kit, depending upon how you will be mounting your panel.
EZIFENCE POST PACK
This pack contains a single post for mounting one end of the
fence panel. For mounting a panel between two posts you
will need two post packs. For mounting a panel between a
post and another structure such as a wall, you will only need
one Post Pack.
EZIFENCE BRACKET KIT
This kit contains 4 brackets and screws to mount one panel
to either Ezi-Fence posts, existing posts, or other structures.
You will need one bracket kit for each panel, irrespective of
how you are mounting your panel.
EZIFENCE BASE PLATE KIT
The Base Plate Kit contains one base plate and mounting
screws. The base plate is used to fix a single post to an
existing concrete path, timber deck, or other similar
structure. If you will be installing the posts into a concrete
footing you will not require a base plate.
EZIFENCE GATE BOX
This box contains a complete gate assembly, excluding locks
and hinges, which must be purchased separately.

EZIFENCE POST PACK INSTALLATION
If you choose to use the Ezi-Fence post pack for your fence
run, you will need to space the posts at 74” centers as shown
in the diagram below.
CUSTOM POST SPACING INSTALLATION
If you will be installing the panel between custom posts or
an existing structure, you will need to cut the fence railing to
suit the opening using a drop saw with an aluminum cutting
blade.
The length of the fence railing, which is the final panel width,
is calculated using the following formula.
Railing length = Opening minus 1”.
GATE
Standard gate is 48 ⁄” x 37 ⁄“ (H x W), with the dimensions
being outer edge to outer edge.
*Please refer to your hinge kit details for gate opening
allowances.

MIDDLE OF FENCE RUN
Using the Ezi-Fence bracket kits, install the panels to either
side of a post to continue a fence run.
END/START OF FENCE RUN
Use posts to start and end a fence run. Posts are to be fixed
to the ground using either Base Plates (for fixing to concrete
slabs or other hard surfaces) or by concreting the post in
place. Install brackets to posts, then ax fence panels to
brackets.
JOINING FENCE RUN TO EXISTING WALL
Ezi-Fence panels can be fixed to an existing wall simply by
using the brackets in the same way as they would be fixed
to Ezi-Fence posts.
CREATING A 90° CORNER
Posts can be used to create a 90° corner between two fence
panels.
ADDING A GATE
Gates must be attached using latch and hinge hardware
(sold separately) to either posts or existing walls.
*Please refer to your hinge kit details for gate opening
allowances.

STRATCO EZI-FENCE DESIGN GUIDE
Q: Can you cut down the frames and slat?
A: Yes, the product is made from aluminum so it is easy to
cut. All you require is a drop saw with an aluminum cutting
blade.
Q: Is the product durable and will it stand the test of time?
A: Yes, aluminum is an extremely durable metal, especially
in coastal conditions. As an example, it is used to make boat
pontoons which sit in and on the water.
Q: Can you adjust the height and or the width of the fence
panel?
A: Yes, this is very easy to do:
Width – Simply cut the top and bottom frame and punched
channels to the required length.
Height – Simply cut the vertical uprights (pickets) to the
required length making sure to take into account the section
that will be inserted into the top and bottom rails.
Q: Can the panel be installed on an angle?
A: Yes, the panel can be installed on an angle up to 12°.
Please refer to the video for an illustration of this.
Q: Why would I buy this product over a traditional timber
fence?
Aluminum will not crack, split or warp.
The powdercoat finish provides a long lasting color finish
that does not require regular repainting.
Aluminum is easily recyclable.
Aluminum is non-combustible (fire retardant).
Aluminum is corrosion resistant - minimal maintenance
required.
Aluminum is light weight and easy to work with.
Aluminum is not aected by termites.
Aluminum is freeze and frost resistant.
Q: What is the powder coat warranty and what do I need to
do to ensure longevity?
A: Akzo Nobel provide us a 10-year warranty on the
powder coat finish - providing specific conditions are met.
Maintenance is very simple and involves ensuring that
grime, salt, organic material, bird droppings are removed
and the product is cleaned with a mild detergent and water
contaminants are observed.
Q: What gate hardware is recommended for the Ezi-Fence
Gate kit?
A: We recommend the D&D technologies Lokk Latch Deluxe
and Tru–close Heavy Duty Hinges. You can use other
similar gate hardware that is readily available from reputable
hardware businesses.
Q: Can you adjust the height and width of the gate?
A: Yes, the height and width can be adjusted in the same way
as is done with the fence panel.
Q: Do I need to purchase an Ezi-Fence post?
A: If you already have your own posts or another similar
structure that you want to attach the panel to then you do
not need to purchase an Ezi-Fence post. Refer to previous
examples for further details.
Q: Do I need to purchase a base plate kit?
A: If you purchase an Ezi-Fence post and intend to install the
post onto an existing deck, pavement, or similar, then you
will need a base plate kit. If you will be installing the post into
a concrete footing then you will not need a base plate kit.
Q: Do I need to purchase a bracket kit?
A: Yes, a bracket kit is essential to install every panel kit. A
bracket kit is not required to install a gate.
Q: Can I leave soil and mulch in direct contact with the
screen once it has been installed?
A: Soil and mulch should not be left in contact with the
product as this may cause the finish of the product to rapidly
deteriorate. If installing the post into a concrete footing, the
post must be painted with a bituminous paint to assist with
corrosion resistance. The top of the footing must be sloped
to encourage water to drain away from the post.
