What’s in the box?
Quick Start
Thank you for purchasing the GOgroove BoomBUDDY Charging Dock Speaker
System from Accessory Power. This uniquely-designed, compact speaker system
is perfect for use with your computer, iPod® / iPhone®, MP3 player, and many
other portable audio devices. It even integrates with your home entertainment
system! The BoomBUDDY is very powerful and comes with a built-in subwoofer
for the ultimate sound experience. Its playful design and booming sound set it
apart from other comparable speakers. Enjoy music with your new BUDDY!
Connect the (b) AC power adapter to the (5) AC power jack on the back of the Boom-
BUDDY. Plug the (b) AC power adapter into an AC wall outlet. Turn the (1) Control knob
clockwise to power on the BoomBUDDY. Plug in your audio device and begin listen-
ing to music. Use the (1) Control knob to adjust the volume.
*Volume can also be adjusted on your iPod, iPhone, MP3 Player, or other device.

Using BoomBUDDY with iPhone or iPod
Connect BoomBUDDY to a power source
Connect the (b) AC power adapter to the (5) AC power jack on the back of the
BoomBUDDY Speaker. Plug the (b) AC power adapter into an AC wall outlet. Turn
the (1) Control knob clockwise to turn the power ON. The (6) LED power indicator
will glow amber to indicate power ow. Remove the (3) Dock cover from the top
of BoomBUDDY and connect your device to the (2) iPod / iPhone charging dock.
Select a song or playlist to start listening to music. Use the (1) Control knob to
adjust the volume.
*Volume can also be adjusted on your iPod, iPhone, MP3 Player, or other device.

Connect the (b) AC power adapter to the (5) AC power jack on the back of the
BoomBUDDY Speaker. Plug the (b) AC power adapter into an AC wall outlet. Turn
the (1) Control knob clockwise to turn the power ON. The (6) LED power indicator
will glow amber to indicate power ow. Connect the (c) 3.5mm audio cable from
your music device to the (4) AUX input on the back of the BoomBUDDY. Use the
controls on your music device to select a song and control music settings. Use the
(1) Control knob to adjust the volume.
*Volume can also be adjusted on your iPod, iPhone, MP3 Player, or other device.

Troubleshooting
The LED power indicator is not glowing
- Please make sure the BoomBUDDY is properly connected to power.
- Make sure that the power is ON by turning the (1) Control knob clockwise.
There is no sound
- Please make sure the BoomBUDDY is properly connected to power.
- Turn the volume up to an audible level using the (1) Control knob.
- Verify that all cables are plugged in correctly.
- Try testing the BoomBUDDY with another audio source to verify there is not an
issue with the device you are using.
The sound is distorted
- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music le
can aect the quality of the sound being produced. Please make sure that your
music le is to the quality you expect.
- Try lowering the volume on the BoomBUDDY and turning the volume up on
your audio device.
- Be sure youre device is properly seated in the (2) iPod/iPhone charging dock.
- Please read all safety and operating instructions before operating this device.
- Do not place device on unstable surfaces.
- Do not place device near water, such as sinks, bathtubs, swimming pools,
washing machines, etc.
- Keep the device out of extreme heat, and away from sources producing extreme
heat, such as space heaters, radiators, stoves, etc.
- Don’t attempt to take apart the product.
- Keep out of the reach of small children.
- If cleaning is required, use a soft dry cloth; if necessary, use a damp cloth with
out any solvents.
