What’s in the box?
Quick Start
Thank you for purchasing the GOgroove SonaWave HD Speaker System. Boasting
a powerful 22-watt SonusMAX speaker and subwoofer arrangement, this elegantly
crafted system will astound you whether you are enjoying music privately or enter-
taining a crowd. On-board controls are paired with a wireless IR remote for iPhone®
and iPod® playlist menu navigation, play settings and controls, volume adjustment,
bass equalizer and mute. It is also equipped with an AUX rear-input for integrating
with your home-theater system or using with other MP3 or cell phone devices. The
SonaWave HD will deliver a truly impressive audio experience. Enjoy!
- Connect the SonaWave HD to an AC wall outlet using the included AC adapter.
- On the back of the SonaWave HD, set the Power Switch to ON.
- Dock your iPhone or iPod and select your music. You will see the Status LED glow
blue, and then you will hear your music.
- You can use the wireless remote to navigate playlist menus, adjust volume and play
settings, and adjust the bass equalizer.

Listening to music from your iPhone or iPod
Connect GOgroove SonaWave HD to a power source
The SonaWave HD comes with an (b) AC power adapter for connecting to any
standard wall outlet. The (b) AC power adapter is 100-240v meaning it will work
anywhere in the world with the correct plug add-on.
Insert the barrel tip of the (b) AC power adapter into the (11) DC-In jack on the back
of the SonaWave HD. Plug the (b) AC power adapter into an AC wall outlet. Once
the SonaWave HD is connected to a power source just set the power switch to
ON (The power switch is located next to the (11) DC-In jack on the back of the
SonaWave HD). You will see the (12) Status LED blink blue to indicate power is
ON. The SonaWave HD is now in Standby Mode. When in Standby Mode, the
SonaWave HD will charge your iPod or iPhone, but it will not play music.

Dock your iPhone or iPod
The dock connector is located on top of the SonaWave HD. The dock has been
designed to accommodate your iPhone or iPod without a case on. Please remove
your protective case before docking it onto the SonaWave HD to ensure a good
connection. You can adjust the (8) Dock support for slimmer models such as iPod
touch® or iPod nano®.
Playing music
Once your iPod or iPhone is docked, you can play music. Please make sure you
switch the SonaWave HD from Standby Mode to Active Mode. You can do this
by either pressing the (1) Power button on the SonaWave HD, or by pressing the
Power button on the (c) wireless IR remote.
Next, scroll through your iPod or iPhone menu either by hand or by using the (c)
wireless IR remote UP, DOWN, MENU, and ENTER buttons.
Once you  nd your preferred playlist, just use the SonaWave HD on-board con-
trols or the wireless IR remote to use play/pause, next, back and bass equalizer
settings.
Please consult the wireless IR remote diagram and table for a complete expla-
nation of the controls.
You can connect an external audio source to the SonaWave HD. This can be any
device equipped with a standard 3.5mm headphone audio output jack.
Please locate the included (d) 3.5mm audio cable. Connect one end of the cable
into your audio source (home theater, laptop, cell phone, MP3 player, etc.).
Connect the other end of the cable to the (9) Line-In port on the back of the
SonaWave HD, located next to the (11) DC-In jack.

Please make sure that the SonaWave HD is connected to a power source and the
(10) Power switch is set to the ON position. Also, make sure that the SonaWave
HD is in Active Mode. Active Mode is indicated by a solid blue (12) Status LED.
You can control volume settings with the (c) wireless IR remote, although play set-
tings and menu navigation will be disabled.

Troubleshooting
The blue (12) Status LED will not turn on.
- On the back of the SonaWave HD, please set the (10) Power switch (ON/OFF) to
ON.
- Please make sure that the AC wall outlet you are using is properly working.
There is no music, OR music is distorted / low quality.
- Make sure that both the SonaWave HD and your device are adjusted to a loud
enough volume level.
- Verify that all cables are plugged into the proper ports and that your device is
fully docked.
- Try using di erent audio sources to make sure the speaker is functioning cor-
rectly, and that the problem is not being caused by your audio device.
- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music  le
can a ect the quality of the sound being produced. Please make sure that your
music  le is to the quality you expect.
- Please remove your protective case before docking device to ensure a good
connection.
The SonaWave HD is not responding to the wireless IR remote.
- Try replacing the battery inside of the remote with a new one. You can go to
most electronic stores to  nd a replacement. If you are having trouble, call the
retailer or manufacturer.
- Keep in a safe place free from dust, liquid and extreme temperatures
- Only use this device with the recommended power sources
- Keep out of reach of small children
- When not in use, please disconnect batteries or power sources
