The FTT system (Free Type Topology) is
designed to support free topology wiring,
and will accommodate bus, star, loop or any
combination of these topologies. FTT-10
transceivers can be located at any point
along the network wiring. High capability
simplifies system installation and makes it
easy to add nodes to expand the system.
Limitations:
Maximum total cable length 500 m.
Requires 1 terminator, connected some-
where.
If the cable length exceeds 500 m, a physi-
cal repeater (maximum one) or a logical
router has to be connected for every 500
meters of the cable.

If bindings between ECL 2000/Comfort, Heat Meter, etc. are desired or visualisation possibili-
ties of data from the network:
• PC (Laptop)
• Interface between LON network and the PC
• Binding tool
• Visualisation software incl. Drivers
