This product is intended to be installed through the wall dividing two dental exam rooms. It is

intended to house an intra-oral X-ray mounted through the shell of the cabinet into a wall stud.

Artizan Expressions X-ray Pass Through Cabinet

Rough-in Information (Carpenter/Contractor)

Note

The rough-in opening for the Artizan Expressions

X-ray Pass Through Cabinet is typically made

in the wall between two dental exam rooms and

constructed similar to a rough window opening.

It is important to always double the studs on the

mounting side of the opening to ensure that the

X-ray equipment will be supported.

Note

Rough opening must be plumb

and square and have a

minimum opening of the listed

sizes to ensure proper fit.

Step 1: Assemble Cabinet Shell.

A) Identify side and bottom panels and hardware. Side panels are oriented with a center indicator hole at the

bottom of the panel. Top and Bottom panels are oriented with holes pointed towards the floor.

B) Insert spreading bolt into the holes nearest the outside vertical edge of the side panel.

C) Insert dowels in the top and bottom panels into the side panels. Spreading bolts will then be concealed

inside the top and bottom panels. Push all of the box sides together until they are flush.

D) Insert the connector housing into the bottom of the top and bottom panels until they are flush with the panel.

Tighten the connector housing by turning it clockwise with a screwdriver.

Installation (XPC)

Step 2: Install Cabinet Shell.

A) Lift the shell into the rough opening.

B) Push the shell against the stud to which the X-ray equipment

will be mounted.

C) Level and secure the bottom panel and the side to which the

X-ray equipment will be mounted using the provided wood

shims and 2 ½” screws (12).

D) Check the level on the top panel and other side panel.

Fill empty space near the mounting holes with wood shims

and trim excess wood.

E) Once all screws are in place, cover the screw heads with the

provided adhesive cover caps.

Step 3: Install Doors.

A) Adjust each hinge to be fully extended by turning each adjustment

screw clockwise until adjustment limit has been reached

B) Lift the doors and clip hinges into hinge base plates. Make sure

each hinge is fully engaged.

C) Adjust the hinges until doors are in desired location. See hinge

adjustment in this manual for more information.

Installation (XPC)

Step 4: Install Trim Kit (Optional).

A) Using the provided 2 ½” screws (12), attach optional trim kit

components around the unit beginning with the top and

working around the cabinet until all sides are installed.

B) Place provided adhesive cover caps over the recessed

screw heads.

C) Repeat the process for the other side of the cabinet.

Hinge Adjustment:

A) Height Adjustment.

B) Panel In/Out Adjustment.

C) Left/Right Adjustment.
