BLOTZ B15-ACC-002 Assembly Instructions

  • I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Subway B15-ACC-002 model. This document details the assembly process, emphasizing the use of glue, a modeling knife, and optional pegs or bands to hold the pieces. I am ready to assist with your questions about the construction process or the components of this model.
  • What type of glue is required?
    Is sandpaper needed?
What tool is needed to remove sections?
Can I use pegs or elastic bands?
15mm Subways
B15-ACC-002
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place
while you allow glue to dry.
Take all the pieces for a subway entrance from
the sprue (as shown above).
Apply some glue to the short end and place it into the
slots on the base (as shown) DO NOT push it
complete home at this point.
Using the lugs on the sides of the piece you have
already positioned, slide the two long side pieces
into place. You can now push the end piece fully
home. Ensure the opposite ends of the side
pieces are still proud (see above).
Place the subway sign piece into position using the
lugs on its edges to align it with the side pieces, then
push it home into the holes on the base.
