Multiplex Beverage Equipment Installation Instructions for
Beermaster Agitator Motor Cooling Kit
P.N. 00218616
Introduction
This kit, when installed, will extend the life of the Beer-
master Agitator Motor by utilizing the cold return glycol to
extract motor heat. The existing heat sinks are not required,
but they can be left in place without affecting this installa-
tion.
Installing the agitator motor cooling kit
1. Turn “off” all power switches on the Beermaster unit.
Shut “off” power to unit.
2. Remove two (2) screws securing the cover and remove
the cover.
3. Place the Cooling Coil around the body of the Agitator
Motor. Seat cooling band down against the motor mount-
ing bosses. Tube ends should be oriented as shown in the
illustration above.
4. Slip the stainless steel tab clamp around the cooling band
and clinch tight.
5. Assemble the plastic tube connectors to ends of copper
tube.
Note: One (1) of the fittings has a larger opening to accept a
plastic tube in step 7. Install this fitting on the longer leg of
the cooling tube.
6. Insert one (1) end of the copper Ell shaped tube into the
fitting on the shorter leg. Direct the other end of the tube
down towards the glycol bath.
7. Remove the end of the glycol return tube from the stain-
less steel guide plate. Insert the free end into the other
plastic fitting on the cooling tube. The plastic tube may
be cut to facilitate a better connection.
8. Turn “on” the power to unit. Turn the power switches
“on”. Check for proper circulation. Return glycol should
be circulating through cooling loop and discharging back
into the glycol bath. Replace cover to unit.
