Gel Casting Using the Owl Model D4
1. Place the UVT gel tray(s) inn the
multiple external gel caster. Level the
gel caster. The gasketed sides of UVT
gel tray form a leak proof seal along the
side of the gel tray.
2. Prepare and pour agarose solution.
Allow agarose to cool then place
comb(s) into slot(s) provided on walls
of UVT gel tray.
3. Once the gel has solidified, remove
the comb(s), place the UVT gel tray(s)
into the buffer chamber, load samples,
add buffer and run the gel.
