SUMMARY:
Occasionally, loss of Aristo Canbus communication with the power source or wire feeder has
been experienced due unknown circumstances when attempting changes in bus speed or
install new software. The method of resetting the control PCB’s to there default setting is
easily accomplished but choosing the appropriate reset pins has been a problem. The photos
that follow show the location of the reset pins for the four PCB’s now in service.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT:
Resetting the control boards back to their default state could change welding and operational
performance of the welding system.
ACTION:
1. With the power turned “off”, connect a jumper plug or test lead between the pins shown
in the photos.
2. Turn the power “On” and “Start” the power source.
3. Remove the jumper plug or test lead.
