PRODUCT SERIES/ MODEL:
PT32 power cables manufactured from January 2002 to April 2003.
SERIAL NO:
N/A
SUMMARY:
A sporadic problem has been reported primarily with 50 ft. PT-32 power cables irreversible curling or
twisting. Excessive power cable temperatures, above 120 Degrees F. (49 degrees C.), could cause
“shrinking” of insulating material inside the cable cover causing the cable cover to distort or twist as
shown below.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT:
Cable deformation can reduce air flow and cable cooling.
ACTION:
If cable deformation is observed or reported and the PT-32 is less that one year old we will handle the
situation as a standard “Return Authorization” and replace the cable under warranty.
For PT-32’s that have been in service for more than one year replace the cable with :
25 Ft. (7.6 m) 0558002841
50 Ft. (15.2 m) 0558002842
