Application area
Residential spaces, hallways and attic spaces in residential buildings and hotel rooms.
Corresponds to categories A1, A2 and A3 of DIN 1055-3.
Requirements & special features
The R value must be increased if the groundwater level is less than or equal to 5 m. A U
value not exceeding 0.5 W/m²K must be maintained in existing buildings and additions
with areas up to 50 m². Structural sealing according to DIN 18195 must be placed be-
neath the oor panel in case of structures facing the ground, and otherwise on the un-
nished oor. A screed thickness of 60 mm must be maintained with CAF-F4 tile screeds.
The screed thicknesses must be adjusted in case of higher design load or point load
values. Observe all installation instructions and manufacturer’s instructions.
