The FriendlyNET GX4-224 has 24 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports (10BaseT/100BaseTX).

• When connecting to other switches or hubs, use this switch’s Gigabit Ethernet ports. Unlike
conventional switches, manual configuration is not required. The FriendlyNET GX4-224
automatically detects and configures uplinks
• Turn on flow control (if available) for all devices connected to the switch’s Gigabit ports
• Attach high-bandwidth devices (like network file servers) to the Gigabit ports
