NNoottee:: Installer to supply four (4) self-drilling TEK screws (512348 or equivalent) .

1. Install one air chute bracket approximately 1-1/2 in (38 mm) down from ceiling and flush to

the edge of evaporator.

2. Join tubes with coupling.

NNoottee:: Tubes may also come assembled or as one piece.

3. Insert tube all the way into air chute sleeve.

4. Insert bracket eyebolts into both ends of tube and then install second bracket approximately

1-1/2 in (38 mm) down from ceiling and flush to the edge of evaporator.

5. Continue installing air chute per the directions provided with chute. When installation is

complete, confirm chute slides easily up and down on bracket rods.

Press Up Air Chute Bracket

NNoottee:: Since this air chute covers open areas on the sides of the evaporator they will need to be

covered to prevent short cycling and discharge air passing over the return air sensors.

These open areas located on the curbside and roadside of the evaporator must be blocked

off, ideally with small pieces of adhesive backed foam. This foam is not include but can be

purchased from Thermo King.

• Roadside — Cut foam to size, make a slit for harness and press foam firmly around opening

to seal it.

• Curbside — Cut foam to size and press foam firmly around opening to seal it.
