REASSEMBLY
1. Lightly lubricate all of the new seals, the inside diameter of the inner body sleeve, and the outside diameter
of the piston/rod assembly.
2. Install the new rod seal into the rod guide behind the bearing as shown in DETAIL B of Figure 2.
3. Install the new rod wipers into the rod guide and rear rod guide as shown in DETAIL B and DETAIL C of Figure 2.
4. Install the new piston seals onto the piston/rod assembly as shown in DETAIL E of Figure 2.
5. Install the new body O-ring seals into the rod guide and rear rod guide as shown in DETAIL D of Figure 2.
6. Carefully install the piston/rod assembly into the inner stainless steel sleeve.
7. Install the rod guide onto the piston/rod assembly. (Avoid damaging the rod seal and rod wiper.)
8. Install the inner stainless steel sleeve into the rod guide. (Avoid damaging the body O-ring seal.)
9. Install the main square body over the inner stainless steel sleeve.
10. Install the rear rod guide onto the piston/rod assembly. (Avoid damaging the rod wiper.)
11. Install the rear rod guide onto the inner stainless steel sleeve. (Avoid damaging the body O-ring seal.) Note
the orientation of the vent plug in relation to the mounting holes shown in Figure 2.
12. Install the 4 body bolts back into the rod guide and rear rod guide.
13. Torque the bolts to 8-10 ft-lbs and use Loctite 243.
