1. OLITE RENTAL FRAME TRUSS BEAM

Types of locks

A single truss bean has two locks, o ne on the left and on e the right side. The procedure described below is for the left lock handle.

Handle in the same way for the right lock handle. The screw position is mirrored in comparison with the left side.

A dual truss bean has 4 locks, one on the left, one on the right side and two in the middle. The procedure the side locks is the same

as for a single truss. For the center locks, procedure one must be skipped as there is no cover plate.

1.1 Removing the cover plate vertical l ock handle

How to remove

1. Turn out both screws A.

2. Turn out the 4 screws C.

3. Take off the co ver plate.

1.2 Removing the locking blocks

1. Turn out the 5 screws (A) mounted on the bo

ttom side of th e truss.

2. Take off the locking blocks which are still tight together with an interlocking plate.

1.3 Removing the handle

How to remove

1. Pull the handle backward s (A).

2. Turn the handle (B) in the direction of gap C in the front plate so that the pin on the handle (D) can pass through hole C.

1.4 Ins erting a new handle

How to mount

1. Insert the ha ndle in gap (C).

2. Turn the h andle in such a way that pin (B) can pass gap (C).

3. Push it further in, turn it back until pin (B) is pointing to the top of the truss beam and push it till pin (B) is against the block.

How to mount

1. Place block assembly B on its place.

2. Turn in the 5 screws.

1.6 Moun ting the cover plate

Only for th e side locks. The center lo cks have no cover plate.

How to mount

1. Place cover plate (C) on the locking blocks.

Each tile has 2 vertical locks, a left and a righ t lock. Th e g iven procedures are giv en for a right lock. The left

lock is a m irror of the right lock.

2.1 Removal of vertical locking assembly

How to remove

1. Turn out the 3 screws on the bottom side (A).

2. Turn out both screws on the front side of the v e

rtical locking (B).

3. Turn off bolt C.

4. Set the locking handle upwards.

5. Slide the vertical locking assemb ly forward to remove it.

2.2 Mounting the vertical locking assembly

Before turning in a screw, put a lick of glue on the screw.

How to mount

1. Insert the vertical locking assembly (A) on its place with the handle upwards.

Slide the hammer bolt (B) a little upwards, if it is necessary, so that it matches the hole in the front plate

2. Turn a nut (C) on t he ha mmer bolt (B).

3. Turn in both front screws (D).

4. Secure the position by turning in the 3 bottom screws E.

3.1 Getting access to the locks

How to get access

To have easy access to the horizontal lock fixation screws, take out 2 modules on each side.

To take out an OLite modules, follow the procedure “R eplace an OLite module on-site” as de scribed in the OLite display service

manual (R5976892) or installation manual (R5976832).

3.2 Removing t he horizontal lock with hook

How to remove

1. Turn out the screw securing the handle.

2. Slide out th e handle.

3. From the front side, turn out both fixation screws of the fastener.

3.3 Removing the horizontal lock without hook

How to remove

1. From front side of the tile, turn out both fixation screws.

2. Slide out the horizontal lock on the side of the tile.

How to mount

1. Insert the side lock with the closing bar (A) to the top.

2. Insert from the front side of th e tile both fixation screws and secure the horizontal lock position.

3.5 Mounting the horizontal lock with hook

How to mount

1. Insert the s ide lock with the hook fixation points (A) in th e upper part of the assembly.

3. Insert the axis for the hook into the hook axis.

4. Slide the hand le on the axis and faste n the screw.
