Before using
Read the instructions properly before using the unit.
Remove all packaging including protective foam/cellophane
and labels.
1. Dispose the packaging properly and keep it out of reach of
children.
2. Ensure that all parts are complete as shown/mentioned in
this manual.
3. Clean the kettle by boiling the water at full capacity twice
then discarding it.
Safety Measures
1. Use the kettle only for its intended domestic purposes.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
3. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
4. The kettle MUST always be turned off before plugging or
unplugging from power outlet for cleaning, servicing or
moving purposes.
5. Never yank the cord to disconnect from power outlet; you
must hold the plug and pull to disconnect.
6. Do not let the cord touch any hot surface. Always keep the
cord well kept to avoid injury.
7. The kettle must be used on a flat and stable surface.
8. The base frame must not be wet.

3. Fill the kettle with acetic acid and water (1:2) then place it
on the base. Switch on to work until it boils.
4. Unplug the cord once the light is off. Leave the acid for 24
hours before pouring it out.
5. Rinse it with water before using it again.

Warranty
AARDEE appliances come with two-year local warranty.
AARDEE will repair or replace the unit for free provided:
a. it is under the warranty period
b. appliance has not been misused, neglected or damaged
c. it has not been modified
d. it is not second-hand
e. no unauthorized materials/parts are used on the appliance
f. original invoice or warranty card with stamp is presented

9. Do not operate kettle without water.
10.This electric water kettle can be only used with the
attached base frame. Don’t use the base frame for other
purposes.
11.Do not immerse the base, power cord and kettle into water
to avoid damage.
12.Do not hold any part of the kettle if it is hot except the
handle.
13.Do not fill the kettle beyond the maximum water level.
14.Remove the kettle from base when pouring, filling and
cleaning it.
Before plugging in
Check that no parts are damaged. If one is, call or return
the unit to the manufacturer or reseller.
Make sure your electricity supply is the same with the
required voltage of the appliance.
Do not use the product if power cord is damaged. It must
be replaced by the manufacturer or the authorized
reseller/distributor.

How to use the kettle
1. Fill the kettle by removing it from the power base. Open the
lid by pulling backwards and lifting the lid handle. Fill with
the desired amount of water and then close the lid.
Note: Maximum capacity is 1.7 litres.
2. Make sure the water does not exceed MAX level or be
below MIN level.
3. Place again the kettle onto the power base.
4. Connect the power cord and plug into a power outlet.
Press the switch ON then indicator light will turn on.
5. Boiling of water will start and once it does boil, the kettle will
switch off automatically and light turns off. (If you wish to
boil the water again, turn on the switch after a minute to
restart the kettle.)
6. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water
out.
7. Always disconnect power cord from outlet if kettle is not in
use. Reminder: Do not remove the lid when water is boiling.

Troubleshooting
Below are some common queries on the appliance. Please read
and understand the basic steps as it may save you time. If your
concern is not found on the list or your issue persists, then kindly
call our service centre.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before
cleaning.
2. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in
water. Never allow even moisture to come in contact with
these parts.
