Before using
1. Read the instructions properly before using the unit.
2. Remove all packaging including protective foam/cellophane and labels.
3. Dispose the packaging properly and keep it out of reach of children.
4. Ensure that all parts are complete as shown/mentioned in this manual.
Safety Measures
Use the iron only for its intended domestic purpose and that is ironing fabrics on a board.
Do not immerse the iron in the water and other liquids.
To avoid burns or injury, do not iron or steam fabrics while being worn on the body.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The iron MUST be turned off before plugging or unplugging from power outlet for cleaning,
servicing or moving purposes.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from power outlet; you must hold the plug and pull to
disconnect.
Let the iron cool down completely before storing.
Do not let the cord touch any hot surface. Always keep the cord well kept when not in
use. Unplug the cord when filling or emptying water and if not in use.
Do not use the iron if it has been damaged or dropped. Do not disassemble the iron in
any circumstances. Call service centre for solution.
Do not leave the iron on and unattended even for a short time.
The iron must be used on a flat and stable surface.
IMPORTANT
Never use water substitutes like scented water or soda in the steam iron as it can stain fabrics.
The ejected steam is hot thus never direct the steam to other people as it may burn them.
Before plugging in
Make sure your electricity supply is the same with the required voltage of the appliance.
Do not use the product if power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the
manufacturer or the authorized reseller/distributor.

Installation
Before plugging in, remove the protection film from the steam plate.
Put the iron in an upright position then set the temperature control according to the garment's
appropriate temperature.
Each garment has different type of fabric so always set the temperature according to the type
of fabric.
Pay attention to the symbols below.
The indicator lamp indicates if iron is ready with the selected temperature. Once it is off, you
can start ironing garments.

How to use the iron
Classify the garments accordingly.
Position the iron vertically then plug in the power cord to the wall socket.
Select the right fabric setting. Once the light goes off then you can begin ironing the
garments.
Troubleshooting
Please refer to the table below for common queries on this unit as it may save you time and
money. If your concern is not found on the list or your issue persists, then kindly call our service
centre.

Water drips
from the
sole plate
The chosen temperature is too low
thus the formation of steam is not
allowed.
Too much usage of burst of steam

The garment might not be rinsed

You have sprayed the garments using
another liquid aside from tap water.
Clean the sole plate of the iron by
using a non-metallic sponge.
Make sure the garments are
thoroughly washed.
Sole plate is
damaged
Iron was placed on a metal
surface.
Always put iron in an upright
position.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Turn off the iron and unplug the power cord from the power outlet after using it.
Drain the extra water inside the water tank of the iron.
Cool off the iron before storing it. Always make sure it is in an upright position to avoid scratches.
To clean the residue, use a damp cloth then afterwards a dry cloth.

Warranty
aardee appliances come with two-year local warranty.
aardee will repair or replace the unit for free provided:
a. It is under the warranty period
b. appliance has not been misused, neglected or damaged
c. it has not been modified
d. it is not second-hand
e. no unauthorized materials/parts are used on the appliance
f. original invoice or warranty card with stamp is presented
