Before using
Read the instructions properly before using the unit.
1. Remove all packaging including protective foam/cellophane and labels.
2. Dispose the packaging properly and keep it out of reach of children.
3. Ensure that all parts are complete as shown/mentioned in this manual.
4. Remove the inside bowl with warm soapy water and let it dry.
Safety measures
Read all instructions and follow them carefully.
This food processor is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the food processor.
The unit MUST always be turned off before plugging in or unplugging from power outlet for
cleaning, servicing or moving purposes.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from power outlet; you must hold the plug and pull to
disconnect.
Do not let the cord touch any hot surface. Always keep the cord well-kept when not in
use.
Unplug the cord when filling or emptying water and if not in use.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use pot holders.
To protect against electric hazard, do not immerse the appliance itself in water or any
other liquid.
Never put the appliance in a place where it could contact with any liquid and any
combustible/flammable mixtures.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not plug high voltage equipment to the same circuit with
the appliance.
Do not use the rice cooker if it has been damaged or dropped. Call service centre for
solution.
Using attachments not authorized by manufacturer is not allowed as it may cause harm
to the appliance.
Use the rice cooker only for its intended domestic purpose.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
Ensure there is no dust, liquid or foreign objects get in between the bowl and the heating
element. Otherwise it may result in the heating element failure.
Do not use the inner bowl as a saucepan.
Do not put it on a stove or in an oven.
Do not turn on the rice cooker if it is empty.
Never use the rice cooker to boil any liquid.
Before plugging in
Make sure your electricity supply is the same with the required voltage of the appliance.
Do not use the product if power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the
manufacturer or an authorized reseller/distributor.

How to operate the rice cooker
1. Use the measuring cup to take the required amount of rice.
2. Put the rice into the inside bowl and add the right amount of water. Adjust the ratio of
water and rice according to rice manufacturer. Note: Do not wash the rice inside the bowl as it
may damage the non-stick coating.
3. Make sure the outside of the bowl is dry then place the inside bowl into the housing.
4. Plug in the power cord connector to the socket. Then connect the appliance to the main
plug, the yellow indicator will light up.
5. Press the ON/OFF key, the yellow indicator will turn off and the red light indicator lights up
which means the cooking has started.
6. Once rice is cooked, the appliance will switch off automatically. The red light is off and
yellow light is on.
Note: Do not take the lid off for about 10 minutes after rice is cooked.
How to use steam basket
Pour some water into the bowl and place the steam basket. Put the food on the
basket then place the cover on the rice cooker.
Follow steps two to three on how to operate the rice cooker.
Once the cooking is over, remove the cover and then the basket from the bowl.
Note: You can only steam fish, meat, vegetables, and other food that will not fall through the basket
holes.

Troubleshooting
Below are some common queries on the appliance. Please read and understand the basic
steps as it may save you time. If your concern is not found on the list or your issue persists, then
kindly call our service centre.

Cleaning & Maintenance
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket and wait for the rice cooker to cool down.
2. Do not immerse the cooker housing or power supply cord into the water. Clean the
cooker parts with a lint-free cloth without any cleansing liquid.
3. Wash the inside bowl, glass lid, and steam basket with hot soapy water using sponge or
soft cloth. Let them dry before assembling again.

Recipe
No-Fuss Rice Cooker Banana Bread
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups enriched white flour
3/4 cups white sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda*
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 medium to large bananas)
1/3 cups softened butter
1/4 cups milk
1 egg
Cooking oil
Directions
1. Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Whisk until the ingredients are well mixed.
2. Add the bananas, butter, milk and egg, mix until the batter has a uniform with thick and
creamy consistency. You can add any other ingredients you wish such as chopped nuts or
dried fruits.
3. Coat the inside bowl of the rice cooker with cooking oil. You can use paper towel to spread
the oil evenly. Then pour the batter into the bowl evenly.
4. Operate the rice cooker as if you are cooking rice. Once yellow light turns on, check if the
bread is thoroughly cooked. If not, run the rice cooker again.
