SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
The GSM series diallers were created to be programmed also via a PC interface.
This setting mode makes device configuration quicker and more complete.
The software is installed on the PC by copying the folder “GSMManager” from the installation CD to the PC folder
to be used for the purpose.
Once the GSMManager application is installed, a serial connection must be created between the PC and the dialler.
This connection must be made using the dedicated interface module supplied with the software and a standard
serial cable (not included in the package).
If the dialler connection was made correctly, launching the application “GSMManager.exe” will permit accessing
the setting mode.
To make the PC connection, instead of using an RS232 serial cable connected directly to the socket on the module
A, you can also use the terminals TX, RX, –, making sure that the wiring is as shown in figure B.
