Feeding Advice

PRUPET automatic pet feeder is designed for providing targeted

pet food distribution programs for your dog or cat, allowing you

greater control over feeding times and food consumption for your

petʼs dietary needs and overall health and wellbeing.

We strongly recommend you check your dry food packaging for the

'Daily Feeding Guide' giving information on the quantity that is

needed to maintain your pet's health. Avoiding your pets overfed

which is both expensive and detrimental to your pet's health.

professional veterinarians, please consider the actual

situation of your pet. It is not advisable to suddenly increase or

decrease a lot of food.

Controlling Via APP

2. Please check before connecting

• Please use indoor only to avoid direct exposure to the sunlight

• Please connect the Feeder via 2.4GHz only. If your WIFI is 5GHz

only, set it to be compatible with 2.4GHz mode.

• The WIFI password is composed of no more than 12 digits and

letters. No special symbols are supported (Such as ʻ!ʼ, ʻ@ʼ, ʻ$ʼ, ʻ*ʼ,

ʻ^ʼ, ʻ&ʼ, ʻ%ʼ, and so on).

• Turn on the Bluetooth function for your Phone. (IOS devices

need to open the APP Bluetooth permission in the phone settings

and perform Bluetooth pairing.)

• Turn on the location access for your Phone (Only needed for the

ﬁrst connection).

• Please keep the feeder close to the router. The distance in a

range of 6 meters without wall barriers is recommended.

• If the conﬁguration fails, please power oﬀ and restart the feeder

[press and hold the Reset button for 10s], then wait for about 2

mins to re-conﬁguration.

sizes, view the last 7 days of feeder activity, and even dispense a

meal remotely. Smartphone alerts let you know when your pet has

When the green LED indicator ﬂashes, press and hold the Set button for

6s until 3 beeps are heard. The LED indicator will turn to blink slowly.

Now the feeder is under AP mode.

Open the APP on your mobile, tap Add Device -> Smart Feeder, tap the

icon at the top right corner and select Conﬁgure WIFI via AP mode.

Enter your WIFI name and password and go to the WIFI connection

interface on your mobile, ﬁnd the device "smartlife-xxx" and tap to

connect. Return to the app and wait for connecting.

Connect the Feeder via 2.4GHz only, if your WIFI is 5GHz, please set it to

Itʼs recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health

of your pet.

The washable parts of the auto feeder are as follows: food

tank, food tray, and cover (without desiccant bag); they can be

submerged in water. Clean by hand-washing using cool or

warm soapy water.

The warranty is limited to any defect arising due to faulty

materials or manufacture. Any defective item will be repaired

or replaced free of charge at the manufacturerʼs discretion,

•Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure

the unit is dispensing properly.

•Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food.

•Do NOT use the feeder for anything other than its intended

use.

•Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may

be packed in polybags; these bags could cause suﬀocation;

keep away from children and pets.

•Do not operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or

has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder

yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further

instructions.

•Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet

feeder.

•To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision

when an appliance is used near children.

•Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this

User Guide.

•Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.

•Do not unplug by pulling on power cord. To unplug, grasp the

plug, not the power cord

•If the plug of this device gets wet, turn out electricity to that

wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.

•Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food

•Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is

The ﬁrst few portions may vary and it doesnʼt

mean faulty equipment. After about 6 feedings

it should be almost even.

Make sure youʼve recorded successfully -

unlock the screen, press the Record button to

check. If no sound is heard, you may need to

record again and be sure to save the

following instructions in the Recording a

Meal Call section.

•Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extended

time, always replace batteries with new ones.

CAUTION

•Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift

and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the

unit in an upright position.

•If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating

should be used.

•Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed

to weather or temperatures below 4°C / 39°F.

•Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-

10mm / 0.07-0.4in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at

the food outlet.

•Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet

feeder and in the packaging.

•Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are

concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a

hard plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the

power cord.

•Use alkaline D batteries to power. Do NOT use rechargeable

batteries.
