Mode key „Function“ (6)
The IR-1001A measures the following temperature values
during each measuring: maximum (MAX), minimum (Min),
difference (DIF) and average value (AVG). These values are
stored until the next measuring and can be recalled by means
of the mode key (6). The alarm values „High alarm” (HAL),
„Low alarm” (LAL) and emission ratio (EMS) can be set by
means of the mode key. Each time you are pressing the mode
key, the IR-1001A skips to another indicating / setting mode
(see figure). With each measuring, the maximum (MAX),
minimum (Min), difference (DIF) and average values (AVG) of
the old measuring are overwritten and new values are stored.
Setting the alarm values and the emission ratio
Select the value to be set by means of the mode key (6). Set
the desired value by means of the keys „Up" (5) and „Down"
(4).
To activate the alarm function (acoustic) set the sliding switch
„SET ALARM” inside the battery compartment to the right
position (symbols „High” and „Low“ (17) appear on the
display).
Locking function
The IR-1001A can be set to permanent measuring by means of the locking
function. To activate the permanent measuring, set the sliding switch „LOCK
Off/On" inside the battery compartment to „On" and press the measuring key
(8). To deactivate the permanent measuring, set the sliding switch to „Off".
During the permanent measuring, the laser and the background lighting can be
switched on or off by means of the „laser/ backlight" key (7).
