IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes
above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove
theoldxturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap
(B)shouldhavemountingscrews(D)attached.Youmayneedtotighten
hex nuts (C) that hold the screws in place.
2.Usemountingscrews(A)andascrewdrivertoattachmountingstrap
(A) to the junction box.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3. Rods (K) are on the xture’s wires. By measuring, determine the
correct number of rods needed for proper hanging height. There are
three optional 12 inch rods and one 6 inch rod (J) included.
Tolengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,
contact the place of purchase to order.
Toshortenthexture,addatleast8to10inchesofwiretothedesired
lengthandtrimthewires.Slideanyexcessrodsoffthexture’swires
to discard.
4.Pullthewirestautthroughtherodsbeforethreadingtherodstogether.
Threadbottomrod(J)ontopost(M)atthecenterofthexture’sbody.
5. Twist the top rod (J or K) into the threads of swivel post (I) of canopy
(F).Locktherod(s)intothecanopybytwistingthumbscrew(G).Pullthe
xture’swiresthroughthetopofcanopy(F)toconnectwiththehouse
wires.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES
6.Haveanassistantsupporttheweightofthexturewhilecompleting
the wiring. Cut away excess wire. Thread the xture’s wires through
canopyloop(H)andnipple(F).Attachthexture’swirestothepower
supply wires from the junction box. Connect black to black (or smooth);
whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twistthe
endsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Make
surealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(green
or copper)coming fromthe junction box,locate groundscrew (E)on
mountingstrap(A)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreen
groundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothe
mountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7.Raisecanopy(F)totheceiling.Positionmountingscrews(D)sothattheyprotrudethroughtheopeningsofcanopy(F).Securecanopy
(F)tomountingstrap(B)withdecorativenuts(H).
8.
Installalightbulb(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommended
wattage.
9.Loosenbolt(M)andraiselid(N)tothehighestposition.Tiltthelampandrodsslightly,andthenpassthelampthrough
decorativecap(O)andintoglassshade(P).Then,placedecorativecap(O)andlid(N)ontopofglassshade(P).Movethelampand
rodsintoaverticalposition.Checkthateverythingislevelandsecuretheassemblybytighteningbolt(M).
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
