CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Haveanassistantsupportthextureweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Cutawayexcesswire.
Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(or
smooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairs
together,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisno
groundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(B)and
wrapthexturegroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecureground
screw(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
Please note that the xture may be hung as a
pendant or a semi-ush mount. Please decide
how you would like the xture to be installed
and refer to the corresponding instructions.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Raisecanopy(G)totheceiling.Positionmountingscrews(A)sothattheyprotrudethroughtheopeningsofcanopy(G).Securecanopy
(G)tomountingstrap(B)withdecorativenuts(F).
6.Slidecandlesleeves(P)overthesockets.
Installlightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donot
exceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
SEMI-FLUSH INSTALLATIONS
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important
notes above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and
completely remove the old xture from the ceiling, including the
old mounting strap.
1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreaded
holesandmayhavetwoofmountingscrews(D)
attached.Ifso,youmayneedtotightenhexnuts(C)
thatholdthescrewsinplace.Ifmountingstrap(B)does
nothavemountingscrews(A)attached,pleasend
thescrewsandhexnutsandattachthescrewstothe
mountingstrap.
2.Testcanopy(G)tomountingstrap(B)toensurethat
withthescrewsinplacethecanopycanattachtothe
mountingstrapwithdeconuts(F).Adjustmounting
screws(A)untilthisispossible.Placethecanopyand
deconutsaside.Securemountingstrap(B)tothe
junctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.
Tightenthescrewssecurely.
3.Placethelampbodyonaatsurface.Placeshade
(P)ontoframe(T).Onesideofconnectorrods(N1)and
(N2)hasthexture’swiresinside.For the shortest
installation (Diagram 1), please remove connector
rod (N2). Unscrew hook (S) from (N2) and attach it to
connector rod (N1). Hookconnectorrods(N1)and/or
(N2)totheframeatloops(Q).Pullthexture’swiresuntil
taut.Attachthetopofconnectorrods(N)ontoplate(R).

PENDANT INSTALLATION - PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes
above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove
the old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholesandmayhave
twoofmountingscrews(D)attached.Ifso,youmayneedtotightenhex
nuts(C)thatholdthescrewsinplace.Ifmountingstrap(B)doesnothave
mountingscrews(A)attached,pleasendthescrewsandhexnutsandattach
thescrewstothemountingstrap.
2.Testcanopy(G)tomountingstrap(B)toensurethatwiththescrewsin
placethecanopycanattachtothemountingstrapwithdeconuts(F).Adjust
mountingscrews(A)untilthisispossible.Placethecanopyanddeconuts
aside.Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)
andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
3.Placethelampbodyonaatsurface.Placeshade(P)ontoframe(T).One
sideofconnectorrods(N1)and(N2)hasthexture’swiresinside.Please
note: you may choose to remove one of the connector rods. You can
remove connector rod (N2). Unscrew hook (S) from (N2) and attach it to
connector rod (N1). Hookconnectorrods(N1)and/or(N2)totheframeat
loops(Q).Pullthexture’swiresuntiltaut.Attachthetopofconnectorrods
(N) onto plate (R).
4. Measuretodeterminethecorrectnumberofrodsneededforproper
hangingheight.Tolengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrods
areneeded,contacttheplaceofpurchasetoorder.Toshortenthexture,add
atleast8to10inchesofwiretothedesiredlengthandtrimthewires.Slide
anyexcessrodsoffthexture’swirestodiscard.
5. Pull the wires taut through the rods before threading the rods together.
Threadbottomrod(K orL) ontopost (M)at thecenter ofthe xture’s body.
Twisttoprod(KorL)intothethreadsofswivelpost(I)ofcanopy(G).Lockthe
rod(s)inplacebytwistingthumbscrew(G).Pullthexture’swiresthroughthe
topofcanopy(G).
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7. Raisecanopy(G)totheceiling.Positionmountingscrews(A)sothattheyprotrudethroughtheopeningsofcanopy(G).Securecanopy(G)
tomountingstrap(B)withdecorativenuts(F).
8.Slidecandlesleeves(P)overthesockets.
Installlightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donot
exceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

xture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecure
groundscrew(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.
