RAB fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National

Electrical Code and and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding

is required for safety.

1. Unscrew bottom of ballast box from top.

2. Mount bottom of ballast box onto Junction

box (with gasket sandwiched in between).

3. Complete the wiring to the power source and

ground (see wiring instructions).

GROUND MOUNTING

Prepare a concrete pad 1” above ground level, using a standard

cardboard form to hold concrete. Position a masonary or “mud”

box with threaded in PVC pipe in the center of the form. The top

of the junction box should be flush with the top of the form. Run

supply wires through PVC pipe and fill the form with concrete.

METAL HALIDE

1. Proper lamp is installed. Lamp is not faulty.

2. Line voltage at the fixture is proper.

3. Fixture is wired properly.

4. Fixture is grounded properly.

WARNING: Make certain power is off before installing or

maintaining fixture

Open fixture by unscrewing guard and globe from fixture.

Prior to installing, check that the lamp is of proper

type and

wattage. Observe lamp manufacturer’s recommendations

on

lamp operation, ballast type and burning positions.
