IMPORTANT
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Sunlite Fixtures must be wired in accordance with the Naonal Electrical Code and applicable local codes.
Proper grounding is required for safety.
WARNING: MAKE CERTAIN POWER IS OFF BEFORE INSTALLING OR MAINTAINING FIXTURE.
Use supply wire rated for 90°C.
The units are wired for 120V. Units built for a specific voltage are factory-wired for
the requested voltage. Make sure the supply voltage is compable with the unit.
LOCATION
Fixture should be located on wall or ceiling and not be recessed. Fixture must be
posioned with lamp facing down.
Not suitable for pendant mount.
MOUNTING & WIRING
1. Thread all leads through back of juncƟon box and gasket with at least 6” of lead showing.
2. Line up the juncƟon box to circuit box and mount securely to surface.
3. With gasket in place, aƩach juncƟon box to circuit box using 5/8” screws provided.
4. Connect the power lead to the black lead.
5. Connect the common lead to white lead.
6. Fixture ground wire must be connected to green grounding screw.
7. All unused leads must be capped and insulated with provided wire caps.
8. Install bulb (see max. bulb waƩage)
9. Screw in glass jar, aƩach cage, and Ɵghten with aƩached screw.
10. To insure weatherproof seal, make sure all holes (mounƟng, conduit, etc.) are sealed
with weatherproof silicone sealant.
IMPORTANT: FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED WITH LAMP BASE UP
CLEANING
Clean fixture and glass jar with nonabrasive glass cleaning soluon or detergent.
Rinse with clean water. Make sure fixture is dry before use.
RE-LAMPING
WARNING: Make certain power is off. Be sure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch.
Open fixture by unscrewing guard and jar from fixture. Prior to installing, check that the lamp is of proper type
and waage. Observe lamp manufacturer’s recommendaons on lamp operaon and burning posions.
