DETERGENT DISPENSER
The detergent dispenser is divided into 4 compartments:
Compartment I, is for prewash powder detergent. The recommended quantity is
60 gm of detergent (for 4,5 kg of laundry).
Compartment II, is for wash powder detergent. The recommended quantity is 120
gm of detergent (for 4,5 kg of laundry).
• The compartment is for bleach. The recommended quantity is 7 cl.
• The compartment is for fabric conditioners, scenting agents and special
additives. The recommended quantity is 5 cl.
The detergent compartment has two guidance lines:
• RECOMMENDED (lower line). This indicates the recommended level for the prewash
and wash compartments.
• MAX. This indicates the maximum level which should never be exceeded.

VARIABLE CAPACITY
This washing machine automatically adapts the water level to the type and quantity of clothes
to be washed. So it is possible to obtain a «customised» wash, even in terms of energy. This
system reduces water and energy consumption and provides an appreciable reduction in
wash time.
PROGRAMME SELECTION
WHEN SELECTING A PROGRAMME, ENSURE THAT THE START/STOP BUTTON IS
NOT ACTIVATED.
To select a programme:
• Programmes are selected by means of the corresponding control knob (A). See the
table of programmes.
• Select the wash temperature by means of the corresponding control knob.
• Select the spin speed by means of the corresponding control knob.
• Select the different options available by pressing the corresponding buttons.
SAFETY AQUABLOCK
(Mod. LTO 129 A)
This appliance is fitted with a safety system (aquablock), which
ensures maximum freedom from anxiety for users. A water leak de-
tector sensor located along the inlet pipe and the devoce fitted to the
tap, automatically block the flow of water in the case of accidental
leaks. Even without electricity supply.

until the line (L) coincides with the desired temperature.

USE OF THE SELECTION CONTROLS
C
. SPIN SPEED SELECTOR KNOB
To select the final spin speed, turn this control until the line
(L) coincides with the desired rpm.
This knob selects the final spin speed. To select a speed,
press down and turn until the desired speed coincides with
the selector mark.
The final spin cycle reaches the maximum speed selected
in non-delicate programmes. The middle and final spin
cycles for mixed, synthetics and delicate programmes is
carried out at 400 r.p.m.
If you do not want a spin cycle, coincide the spin exclusion
symbol with the selector mark.
THE KNOB CAN BE TURNED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
D
. SUPER-RINSE BUTTON
Pressing this button removes the last vestiges of soap powder from the
fabrics, as the rinses are done with more water. Programmes 1-2-3-4.
E
. INTENSIVE WASH BUTTON
Use the intensive wash button for cotton programmes (1-2-3-4).
When the button is pressed, the selected temperature is kept constant during
all the phases of the wash cycle.
This feature combined with a sustained mechanical action results in excellent
washing results with resistant and particularly dirty fabrics.
F
. ANTI-CREASING BUTTON
This button works in all programmes except the 34-minute cycle.
It can be used to minimise wrinkling of fabrics during wash programmes.
The results obtained differ with each programme:
In programmes for NORMAL FABRICS, pressing this button will cause the machine to
stop on the last rinse, leaving clothes soaking in water.
To complete the programme and spin the clothes, press the button again to release it.
In programmes for SYNTHETIC FABRICS, pressing this button will cut out the intermedi-
ate spins and perform only one final spin at low sped, thus minimising the stress suffered by
fabrics.
In programmes for HIGHLY DELICATE FABRICS, pressing this button will cause the
machine to stop on the last rinse, leaving clothes soaking in water.
To complete the programme and spin the clothes, press the button again to release it.
Do not press this button if the “vigorous spin” (normal fabrics) programme is
selected.

1. For highly soiled clothes, it is advisable to reduce the load to no more than 3 kg.
2. For automatic whitening in programmes 1 and 2, pour bleach into the bleach
drawer .
3. The washing machine is designed to incorporate fabric softener automatically in the last
rinse of each washing cycle.
34-MINUTE FAST PROGRAMME
This programme completes a full wash cycle in 34
minutes for up to 2 kg of clothes at 50ºC. Wash
temperature can be lowered via the temperature
selector.
Pour washing powder into the pre-wash compartment
(compartment 1).
The 34-minute fast programme can also be used as
a pre-wash cycle with particularly heavily soiled
clothes. Just select the desired main programme
afterwards.
