28mm Middle Eastern Building #10
B28-ME-010
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Remove the four inner walls and base from the sprue.
Glue them together as shown to form an open-top
box.
At this point it is a good idea to glue a weight to the
inside of the box to help the minarets stability. We
have used a number of Uk 2p coins.
Glue the “lid” in place.
Glue to the doorway arch to the box, so that its right
hand side is flush with the edge and it sticks out by
about 2mm on the left hand side.
Move around the box, adding the other outer wall
pieces. Leave this sub-assembly to dry.
Take the sides of the tower, two supports and the
end caps from the sprue.
Glue the four walls with lugs on the ends to the
supports, ensuring that all have the long lug at the
same end..
Glue the end caps on the cap with only 4 holes goes
at the end with the long lugs (which will protrude
through it)
The larger end cap goes at the other end.
Glue this assembly on top of the base as shown, using
the lugs to position it.
Attach the other wall sections - making sure all the
wall sections are the same way round.
Take the upper windows, a support and a cap from
the sprue.
Glue the four window pieces with lugs to the
support.
Attach the “cap”
Then glue the other window pieces into place.
Glue this sub-assembly into position.
Take the eight balustrade pieces…
..and glue them around the cap on the tower as
shown.
Take the roof and roof supports from the sprue.
Glue a support to the back of each roof piece.
Glue each roof support to the roof, making sure they
are straight.
When all are in position, you should have a small
hole at the top of the roof (see above).
Glue the finneal into place.
The finished Minaret.

Foyer (B10-MW-100)
Start by removing the sections shown above (left)
from the sprue. There are enough parts to create
both doorway sections.
Glue them together as shown in the image on the
right.
Glue each doorway to the back of the long sides, using
the lugs/holes provided.
At the same time, glue a triangular bracer to the
back of the long sides at each end. Leave these to
dry.
Glue the shorter end walls into place to give a hollow
rectangle. Once this is dry, glue the decorative
columns and balconies into position.

Mid-Section (B10-MW-150)
Remove the four walls and four triangular corner
bracers from the sprue. Glue the triangles to
non-etched side of the two long walls as shown
in the example above. Leave to dry.
Once the bracers are dry, apply a little glue to the side
lugs and glue the shorter walls in place as shown
above. You should now have a hollow square
structure. Leave it to dry.
Now remove the four rectangles from the sprue.
Each of these has a line etched across it. Apply
glue to one side of the line only and attach it (as
shown) to the centre bottom edge of each wall.
Finally glue the balconies into position.
