Deagostini Samurai Armour User guide

  • Hello! I've reviewed the user guide for the Samurai Armour Set Step by Step. This document provides clear, step-by-step instructions for assembling the armour, detailing everything from the cuirass back to the tassets and neck guard. It includes information on needed parts, tools, and materials, along with how to secure laces and cords. I'm here to answer your questions about the assembly process or any specific parts of the set. Feel free to ask!
  • What parts are needed for Stage 17?
What tools are needed for assembling the tassets?

Prepare another
length of lace.
Following the

right, thread the lace
from the back of the
rst tasset through
the third hole of the
second row (1), then
back through the
second hole of the
rst row (2).
Tie a ball knot at the end of each
length of lace, cut away the
excess, and apply PVA glue to the
knots to secure them in place.
Thread the lace
through the top hole
of the second plate, then
through to the back. Pull
through to the front of the
plate and pass down to
the next one. Repeat until
you reach the back of the
sixth plate and secure the
end with a knot.
Thread the lace
on the left side of
the tasset in the same
way as the previous
tassets.
Complete the lacing along the two
bottom rows of the sixth plate, as detailed
on page 10.

and through the third hole of the rst row, then cross over into the second hole of
the second row (6). Adjust the length of the lace so the toggle is positioned 2cm
away form the second row on the back of the rst tasset. Tie the end of the lace in a
knot, cut away any excess and apply glue to secure.
Take the armour o the stand and undo the toggles at the shoulders, so you can spread
the cuirass out, as shown. You may want to raise the left side of the back plate up, so that
it is easier to work on.
Pass the lace from the cuirass down to the tasset, through the hole in the top corner of
the rst tasset, then through the hole below to the back of the tasset. Adjust the length so
it is the same as the other tassets, then tie a knot, glue and cut away the excess.
Prepare the length of blue lace
and thread it through the hole
nearest the side of the left side
cuirass plate. Pass it down to the
tasset and through the fourth hole
of the rst row (1).
Cross the lace over to the
second row (2), then pass it
across behind the tasset (3) and
back through to the front (4).
Cross it over to the rst row, then
pass it back up to the cuirass (5)
and through to the back.
Pass the lace behind the
side plate (6), out through
the next hole, then down to
the tasset (7), completing steps
(8-11). Adjust the length of the
lace and secure the end with a
knot and glue.
Prepare the remaining length of yellow
lace, and thread it from the back through
the hole in the left side panel that already has
yellow lace in it.
