NOTE: This setup guide applies to Halogen and LED-style lights.
Step 1:
A) Position tab of rotation stop ring in line with flex arm, facing
lighthead as shown.
B) Insert flex arm shaft into curved arm assembly & secure
with set screw.
C) Lift cover ring & install stop pin in curved arm assembly.

Light Arm Setup
(with Asepsis 21 console)
Step 1: Remove both side covers from console
& loosen two set screws.
Step 2: Install lower bearing,
then tighten set screws.
Step 3: Install pivot bearing & insert light post
assembly into center hole of console.
Step 4: Install bearing washer & trim
ring onto curved arm.
Step 6: Insert curved arm into center hole of
console, feeding wire harness down
thru console mounting bracket.
Step 7: Route wire harness up thru bottom of
console and connect as shown.
Step 9: Verify proper operation of light
and light arm.
Note
The lower bearing will rest on top of mounting
screws of the accessory mounting plate.
Step 8: Connect chair light harness
to power supply.

Step 5: Connect curved arm wire harness
to jumper harness as shown.

Tension Adjustments
To adjust Flex Arm tension...
A) Remove end cap and top cover as shown.
B) Loosen or tighten adjustment nut as desired.
To adjust tension at Arm / Yoke pivot joints...
A) Remove neck cover as shown (see Note).
B) Loosen or tighten appropriate screws to adjust tension.
Note: Some halogen models have a short neck on the lighthead. It is not
necessary to remove the neck cover on these models.
To adjust tension at Light pivot joint...
A) Remove screw cover as shown.
B) Loosen set screw.
C) Loosen or tighten light pivot adjustment screw.
D) Tighten set screw.
