BUTTON CONTROLS
• Tap the “Setup & Manual Treat Button” to
manually dispense treat (no need to connect to
the App).
• Press and hold the button for 8 seconds to reset
the device and put into network pairing mode.
Note: In this manual we cover the QR pairing
mode instructions.
• Fast Flashing = EZ pairing mode.
• Slow Flashing = AP pairing mode.
There are 2 flashing states
GETTING STARTED
WITH THE APP
1. Install the Laser SmartHome
App for your Smartphone from
the iOS App Store or
Google Play Store.
2. Log in with an existing
Laser SmartHome account
or create a new account.
CONNECTING
TO THE APP
1. Press and hold the
“Setup & Manual Treat Button”
on the Treat Dispenser for
8 seconds till you get a fast-flashing
Green light.
If the light is flashing
slowly, press and hold the button
again till you get the fast-flashing
version.
2. Open the Laser SmartHome
App and tap the “+” icon to
add a device.

3. Select the
“Small Home Appliances”
category on the left then select
“Pet Feeder with Camera
(Wi-Fi)”.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi details

5. On the next screen tap the
option in the top right and select
“QR Code”.

6. Select the checkbox,
then tap Next.
7. On the next screen you will
need to hold the QR Code on
the App towards the camera
lens on the Treat Dispenser.
A tone will be heard when
done correctly. Tap
“I Heard a Prompt” to continue.
Tip: Move the QR code on the
phone away, then towards the
camera lens a few times so that
it can detect it properly.

8. Wait for the network pairing
to complete.
NOTE: If you are unable to pair
successfully with the Treat
Dispenser, please check your
Wi-Fi password and make sure
you are only using a 2.4GHz
Wi-Fi connection. 5GHz
connections are not supported.
9. When finished pairing tap
“Done”, then the device will
appear on the Laser SmartHome
App home screen.

TROUBLESHOOTING
• Check the food bucket has available food.
• If the food bucket is not empty, check if the
outlet is blocked. Clean or unblock if necessary
(please power off the device during cleaning).
• Check the Treat Dispenser is paired with the App
and then check the Wi-Fi connection it is linked to.
Why is the treat not dispensing?
• Check your Wi-Fi username and password
are correct.
• Make sure you are only using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
connection as the 5GHz band is not supported.
• If you are unsuccessfully connecting using the
QR Code. Switch the pairing mode to “AP Mode”
by pressing and holding the “Setup & Manual
Treat Button” till you get a slow flashing Green light.
Proceed with the regular “Connecting to App”
instructions outlined in this manual but on Step 6,
choose “AP Mode”. Follow the instructions on the
App to finish pairing.
The Treat Dispenser is not
connecting to the App.
