SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
1. AVOID SHARP EDGES WHEN ASSEMBLING. Avoid pinching points. Keep fingers
away from moving parts.
2. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING OR TRANSPORT-
ING THIS ANIMAL TRAP.
3. KEEP PRODUCT USAGE AREA CLEAN. Animal Trap can be hosed off when
cleaning.
4. ALWAYS CHECK DOOR LOCK AND ASSEMBLY LATCHES.
5. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Before using this product, carefully check that it
will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for damaged parts
and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or repair damaged or
worn parts immediately.
6. USE EXTREME CAUTION when transporting an animal in the Animal Trap. Be cau-
tious not to get bit or scratched if you plan on carrying the Trap with an animal inside.
7. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO STAND ON, CLIMB INTO OR PLAY AROUND
THE ANIMAL TRAP. This Trap is for small animals only. Maximum weight should not
exceed 40 lbs.
8. NEVER PUT TRAP ON A WOODEN DECK OR ANY OTHER SURFACE that you do
not want scratched.
9. PUT BAIT ON TRIGGER PAN. The bait should be far enough away from the sides of
the Trap so the bait cannot be reached from the outside.

10. AFTER SETTING, CHECK THE TRAP AT LEAST ONCE PER DAY. Caged animals
may be suffering from stress or cause harm to themselves and should be treated
humanely.
11. CAUTION: If only one door slams shut, the animal can still escape. It will be easier to
trap if you keep one end of the trap shut.
12. USE A STICK OR PENCIL TO TEST THE TRIGGER PAN.
13. STAY ALERT. WATCH WHAT YOU ARE DOING, AND USE COMMON SENSE
WHEN OPERATING THE ANIMAL TRAP. Do not operate the Animal Trap while tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention
while operating Animal Trap may result in serious personal injury.
14. DRESS PROPERLY. DO NOT WEAR LOOSE CLOTHING OR JEWELRY. CON-
TAIN LONG HAIR. KEEP YOUR HAIR, CLOTHING, AND GLOVES AWAY FROM
MOVING PARTS. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
15. WEAR ANSI-APPROVED SAFETY GOGGLES WHEN SETTING UP THE ANIMAL
TRAP. Don’t assemble if using drugs or alcohol.
WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual
cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be under-
stood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. The Animal Trap comes collapsed and is ready for transport or storage. It is a strong,
durable steel wire cage. See Figure 1.
2. Open collapsed Animal Trap by lifting Trap by handle. The Trap will take on a square
shape. Swing down the Cage Support Brace (7) and attach it to the Cage (1) using the
clips on each side. See Figure 2.
3. Open the Front Spring Powered Trap Door (2) while pressing the Upper Latch (3). Hold
the Trap Door (2) open (assistance may be required). Hook the Trigger Hook (4) on the
Turning Sleeve (5). See Figure 3.
4. The Trigger Hook (4) will keep the door open. If you want both doors open, repeat these
steps on the rear Trap Door (2). See Figures 2 & 3.

5. For a “COARSE SETTING”, adjust the Trigger’s sensitivity by adjusting the Trigger
Hook (4) all the way, as far as it goes, under the Turning Sleeve (5). See Figure 3 on
page 4 and Figure 4 below. A heavier amount of weight on the Trigger Pan (6) will
be required to pull the Trigger Hook (4) off the Turning Sleeve (5), releasing the Front
Door.
6. For a more “SENSITIVE SETTING”, hook the Trigger Hook (6) on the Turning Sleeve
(5) only with the TIP of the Hook. The weight of a lightweight animal will pull the Trigger
Hook off the Turning Sleeve, thus releasing the front or back Trap Door (2).
7. A pair of pliers (not provided) can reshape the Trigger Hook (6) for any fine adjustment
you may need. Practicing the settings of the Trigger with a pencil or screwdriver (not
provided) on the Trigger Pan (6) and how much pressure is needed for releasing of the
front and/or back Door (2), should give you the desired setting you will need for the
animal you plan to catch. See Figure 5.
8. After adjustment, place the appropriate bait for that animal on the Trigger Pan (6).
