Chute Assembly
Chute Base
Support Tube
Place shift lever into A.
F6 position.
Pivot upper handle B.
into operating
position.

Secure the lower handle, upper A.
handle and support tubes with the
hardware removed earlier.
Tighten the upper B.
handle knobs.
Remove the handle knobs,
washers and carriage bolts from
each side of the lower handle.
A
Place chute assembly
onto chute base
with the two flange
keepers beneath the
lip of the chute base.
Reinstall the flange
keeper removed in
Step 4.
Remove the left flange
keeper, hex nuts and hex
screws from the chute
assembly.
Remove the hairpin A.
clip from the fitting.
Insert the chute directional B.
control rod into the fitting
and re-secure with the
hairpin clip.

Gas Fill
Move throttle control into
the Fast
position.
Move the choke control
into the Choke
position.
Connect power cord to A.
electric starter outlet.
Plug other end of power B.
cord into a three-prong
120-volt, grounded, AC
receptacle.
Push primer
three times.
Fill fuel tank with clean,
fresh gasoline. Do not fill
above the base of fuel
tank neck.
Check the oil level using
the dipstick. Add oil if
necessary. (Refer to the
Operator’s Manual)
Insert the key into
the key switch until
the key snaps into
place.
Do not turn the key!
To start engine, push A.
the starter button.
When engine starts, B.
slowly move choke
control into the Run
position.
Disconnect cord from C.
power receptacle
first and then from
snow thrower’s
outlet.
