Tools Required:

• /-inch wrench (or adjustable wrench)

Hook the “Z” end

of the clutch cable

into the tine

engagement lever

Hand Knob

Tine Engagement Lever

Depth Stake

Handle

Handle Brace

Remove the hex screw and bell washer

from the right side of the frame.

Insert the handle into the frame and attach

with the bolt and bell washer (cupped side in).

Note the location of the cable guide bracket

on the tiller frame. Refer to image in Step 2.

Tighten the bolt securely after attaching the

handle brace in Step 4.

Secure the handle brace to the handle with the

bolt, hand knob and bell washer (cupped side in).

Securely tighten the bolt inserted in Step 3.

Remove the two hex washer screws

from the tail bracket.

Position the depth stake assembly within

the tail bracket and secure with the two

hex washer screws removed in Step 5.

Oil Fill

Fill fuel tank with clean, fresh

gasoline until fuel reaches the fuel

level indicator.

Pour the entire contents of the

oil bottle (included in carton)

into the oil fill.

Grasp starter rope handle

and pull with quick, full-arm stroke.

When engine starts, slowly move choke

control into the Run position.

Move throttle control into the

Fast position.

Move the choke control

into the Choke position.

Tighten the screw securing

the tailpiece (if necessary).
