Invacareguaranteesthattheirwheelchairsarefreefromdefectsand
arefullyfunctional.Thewarrantycoversallfaultsanddefectswhich
areverifiablyattributabletofaultyconstruction,substandardmaterials
orpoorworkmanship.Warrantyclaimsagainstthemanufacturermay
onlybemadebythedistributorandnotbytheuseroftheproduct.
Thewarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearandtear,the
consequencesofimproperhandlingordamage,poormaintenance
andincorrectassemblyorcommissioningbythepurchaserorathird
personorfaultswhichareattributabletocircumstancesbeyond
ourcontrol.Wearingpartsarenotcoveredbytheguarantee.The
warrantyisvoidedifmodificationsaremadetotheproductwhich
werenotauthorizedandnotperformedbythespecialistdealeror
ifinappropriateaccessoriesorsparepartsareused.Thewarranty

includesatestforflammability(EN1021-2andISO8191-2).
Invacareiscontinuouslyworkingtowardsensuringthatthecompany’s
impactontheenvironment,locallyandglobally,isreducedtoa
minimum.WeuseonlyREACHcompliantmaterialsandcomponents.
1.5Intendeduse
Themediumactivewheelchairispropelledmanuallyandshouldonly
beusedforindependentorassistedtransportofadisabledperson
withmobilitydifficulties.Whenusedwithoutanassistant,itshould
onlybeusedbypersonswhoarephysicallyandmentallyableto
usethewheelchairsafely(e.g.topropelthemselves,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairshouldonlybeusedonlevelgroundandaccessible
terrain,aswellasindoors.Thismediumactivewheelchairneedsto
besubscribedandfittoyourspecifichealthcondition.

1.Toadjusttheheight,removetheboltBfromthehousing.
2.AdjusttheantitipperdevicetubeCtothedesiredheight.
3.Ensurethattheantitipperhasa40to50mm(1½to2–inch)
groundclearance,whenactivated.
Thisadjustmentisrequiredwithreferencetothepositionand
diameteroftherearwheel.Thedistancebetweentheantitipper
deviceandthedrivewheelshouldbe50mm(2inch).
Makesurethattheantitipperdeviceisfittedcorrectly
oneachside,theboltBmustlockintoposition.The
adjustmentmustbecarriedoutbyanauthorizeddealer.
