therearwheelsoverthekerbuntilthecastorscanbe
placedbackontheground.
5.6Negotiatingrampsandslopes

Whennegotiatingslopesorgradientsyour
wheelchaircouldtipbackwards,forwardsor
sideways.
Alwayshaveanassistantbehindthewheelchair
whenapproachinglongslopes.

Avoidjerkingwhenchangingdirectionona
slope.

Yourwheelchaircouldrunawayevenonslightly
