* The cooktop control knobs are not interchangeable. After cleaning or servicing, they must be returned to
their original positions.
The cooling fan can run at two speeds:
1) Full speed
2) Reduced speed
The fan speed depends on the temperature of the oven and/or the cooktop.
After the oven and/or the cooktop switch off, the cooling fan may, however, continue to run for a certain time to
ensure proper cooling.
Important: An optional kit consisting of an oven door glass and of relevant mounting components, is available by
the After-Sales Service. The use of the kit reduces the temperature of the outer oven surface and is strongly
recommended if there are kids in the house.

BOTTOM HEATING FUNCTION
Use:
- To finish baking fruitcakes or cheesecakes.
- To thicken sauces.
- Use the lower heating function for the last 10 or
15 minutes of cooking time.
STATIC FUNCTION
Use when all the food is on the same runner level.
- Pre-heat the oven to the required cooking
temperature and place the food inside as soon as
the red thermostat indicator light switches off.
- Ideally, the shelf should be on the second runner
level when using the static function.
GRILL FUNCTION
Use the grill function to cook small pieces of meat
(steaks, sausages) and for making toasts.
- The oven door must be closed during the cooking
cycle.
- Preheat the grill for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the meat on the grid with the drip tray
underneath. Pour water in the drip tray to cover
the bottom to reduce smoke and fat spatters.
- Turn over the meat about half-way through
cooking time.
GRILL +TURNSPIT FUNCTION
- Place the food on the spit and secure it with the
two forks.
- Place the grid supporting the spit inside the oven
on the second runner.
- Insert the spit in the hole provided on the rear
wall, laying it on the support grid.
- Remove the handle from the spit.
- Place the drip tray under the grid. We suggest you
poured some water in the drip tray to reduce
smokes and grease spatters.
- Close the oven door.
Turn the selector knob to the required symbol.
The oven light switches on.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the
required temperature.
The red thermostat indicator light switches on.
When the required temperature is reached, the
red thermostat indicator light switches off.
End of cooking cycle:
Return the knobs to the OFF position (0 - •).
The minute minder is a mechanical clock whose range
is from 1 to 60 minutes.
- Turn the knob clockwise to the required cooking
time.
- At the end of the cooking time, the alarm will ring.
We suggest you turn the knob of one complete turn
and then you come back to the time required to reset
the warning signal.

The cooktop control knobs are marked with a numerical scale corresponding to different power settings, and a series
of function symbols.
KEEP WARM FUNCTION
This function uses a low power setting so that food can be kept warm when cooking is terminated.
How to operate:
1. Turn the knob to .
2. To deactivate the keep warm function, change the knob position.
DUAL ZONE FUNCTION
(DEPENDENT ON MODEL)
This function is available on the front left and rear left cooking zones. The dual-zone function extends the heated
area of the cooktop so that you can use large, oval or rectangular pans.
How to operate:
1. Turn the knob to and wait for the residual heat indicator for the chosen hotplate to start flashing.
2. Select the required power by turning the knob anti-clockwise. The residual heat indicator remains lit to show that
the cooktop is switched on.
3. To deactivate the function return the knob to “0”.
FAST BOILING FUNCTION
This function makes it possible to bring water to the boil fast; the fast boiling function remains active for a preset
time. At time elapsed the cooktop returns automatically to maximum power level. The fast boiling function can be
activated also once you have already started cooking.
Warning: Make sure you have placed the pan on the cooking zone before activating the fast boiling function or the
glass-ceramic surface may be damaged.
Specified performance values for the fast boiling function are guaranteed for all types of glass-ceramic cooktops.
How to operate:
1. Place the pan on the chosen cooking zone.

GENTLE HEAT FUNCTION
Can be used to prove dough, soften hard butter from the fridge, keep a baby's bottle or a baby food warm, for
yoghurt making, softening chocolate, etc.
This function is only available when the relative cooking zones residual heat indicator light is switched off.
How to operate:
1. Make sure that the relative cooking zone residual heat indicator light is on.
2. Turn the knob to .
3. To deactivate the function change the knob position.
COOKTOP FUNCTIONS
This symbol is not linked to an appliance function: the heating element is switched off.
